Yes, that's right, we will be having the

New Berlin, Wisconsin City Championship New Year's Eve!

Doors open at 10:00 A.M., Tournament begins at 10:30 A.M.
Cost: FREE

Any player who has never before played in one of our tournaments will get a FREE booster pack, just for coming! If that new person is brought by a returning player, the player bringing the new player will also get a FREE booster pack!

I will also be offering a sanctioned Booster Draft side event. To make it affordable, this side event will cost just $10 for 5 packs, and to make it worthwhile, I will be putting 2 packs of Ex: Delta Species into the prize structure for each participant. The top 8 finishers will get prizes, and with 32 players, the side event prizes would look like this:

1st: 18 packs
2nd: 15 packs
3rd: 12 packs
4th: 9 packs
5th: 6 packs
6th: 3 packs
7th: 2 packs
8th: 1 pack

I'm aware that there was a problem between you at another event. That is unfortunate. Both you and he have coexisted without major problems at earlier events I have run. I trust that you will be able to do so again. :smile:

All players in good standing with PUI are encouraged to attend my events. I hope you can both come to this and work your differences out, or more likely ignore them (and each other) like other adults do in similar situations.

I will be running this event. There will be no problems. If either of you has some difficulty with the other, just bring it to my attention discreetly, and I will address it appropriately.

I would LOVE to do a midnight draft. Unfortunately, the store closes at 6:00. This will be a midday draft, beginning at about 3:00. The timing (over break) was definitely intentional! :cool:

Its unfortunate how sometimes people want to deal with problems by acting like 2 yr olds and making threats, instead of just talking in a civilized manner.

I hope to be there, great idea about the date, I'm just hoping I get back in time to go to any parties...lol

Will's coming back and so far for someone who hasn't played in a while he has been able to win the pre, your lucky that we started late....lol....nah im kidding, I'm glad to see your back in the game, its fun to have a good player around, but it doesn't mean i'm gonna go soft on you.... :thumb:

Excellent!

As far as the draft, we will be using older sets for the draft cards (pre-Modified), but we will use DS for prizes. I can go as low as $10 for the draft if we use 5 packs. I will change my first post to reflect that. There will still be 2 packs of DS in the prizes per player entered.

Anything from the 11-card era would be EXCELLENT!!! I'm not gonna miss a chance to play Swine Time once again!!! lol, maybe not. But, that 7-6 line was quite powerful, was it not? lol.

Gonna enjoy this one!!! I'd pay up to $20 for that side event, if there are more boosters put into the prize pool *coughcoughwinkwinknudgenudge*...
 
I beat your 7-6 swine line, did I not? I think you only went 3-2 with it, as did everyone in that even except for I think eric who was undefeated. I tied for 2nd at 3-2 but resistance made me 6th lol.
