New collector...unsure what to expect for a couple cards. Especially gyarados snap.

As the title says, I'm new to collecting and am not too serious about it. I know what metagame stuff is worth but I'm lost by anything before that. I don't know if this is a little out of bounds but I'm looking to collect any and all gyarados cards. I was hoping someone could let me know any holes I have in this list:

Gyarados (Skyridge H10)
Gyarados (EX Dragon 32)
Gyarados (EX Deoxys 8)
Gyarados δ (EX Holon Phantoms 8)
Dark Gyarados (EX Team Rocket Returns 36)
Giovanni's Gyarados (Gym Challenge 5)
Misty's Gyarados (Gym Challenge 13)
Clair's Gyarados (VS 48)
Lance's Gyarados (VS 98)
Shining Gyarados (Neo Revelation 65)
Gyarados ex (EX FireRed & LeafGreen 109)
Gyarados ☆ δ (EX Holon Phantoms 102)

Now my main question is how much is should expect to pay for these(although I'd rather trade for them):
Shining Gyarados (Neo Revelation 65)
Gyarados ex (EX FireRed & LeafGreen 109)
Gyarados ☆ δ (EX Holon Phantoms 102)

Because I am collecting them ALL. I was wondering which ones come reverse holo, or 1st edition or any other variation I should know about. Thanks for any help I can get!
 
I would say:

Shining Gyarados (Neo Revelation 65) 20-24$
Gyarados ex (EX FireRed & LeafGreen 109) 10-14$
Gyarados ☆ δ (EX Holon Phantoms 102) - 25$
 
Is your list supposed to go back to the base set, because you don't list that Gyarados.

Also note that the new Trainer Deck being sold includes two different Gyarados.
They have the same text as the HGSS Gyarados, but have alternate art.
One is holo and one is not.
 
so there are 4 different gyarados just in HGSS??

1 red gyarados
1 gyarados (set)
1 gyarados (trainer kit) holo alternate art
1 gyarados (trainer kit) completely non holo

plus the RH versions of the 2 set gyrardos?!

Actually....the Red Gyarados has a holo and an rh version as well in HGSS........

I think that's what he meant by the two.

To answer your question, yes, sort of. There are 4 gyarados (RH & H) in the set and 2 exclusive to the Trainer Kits.

I think the only ones from that list which didn't get English releases were the two VS ones, and the Snap prize promo.
 
wow thanks. out of curiosity where would I even start to find these cards? are there like main sources people use to get most or is it just random luck finding them?

and that snap gyarados looks expensive. how much is it worth... i cant find it anywhere so im assuming a lot.

I would say just try eBay, just places like hardrock-pokemon, you might get lucky.

And yeah only 10 of the snap Gyarados exist, you're looking at multiple thousands for one of those.
