new dp rules with houndoom uf

houndoom uf's pokebody says

Lonesome: As long as you have less Pokemon in play than your opponent, your opponent can't play any Trainer cards (except for supporter cards) from his or her hand.

I know that with the old rules this made it so your opponent could not play stadium cards but now since stadium cards are stadiums not trainers can you play one with houndoom in play? (considering you have more pokemon out than your opponent)

When Houndoom was released the definition of Trainer included Supporters and Stadiums. That is what you go by, so playing a Stadium would still be prevented, and since you go by the original definition, even a new DP Stadium card that no longer says Trainer on it would be prevented.
