New! Dragon! Type?

According to poke beach dragon has been confirmed as a new type?
In my opinion I think it's ridiculous how they decided to add a new type in the middle of creating sets excluding dragon as a type, very random if you ask me.
Will this lead to the creation of ice, bug, flying, poison, rock, ground, etc?
If so will this restrict avenues in which we attack? Hopefully they manage to find a way to elaborate on the other types without harming the game we play and love.
Will the knew energy be special or basic and what will it look like?
Pokemon both confuses me and excites me...

Now that I'm done venting my opinions, I would love to hear some other amazing ones.

What do you think about this new type and how the game play will be effected by dragons having their own type?

Lets hope Pokemon tcg evolves for the better. :thumb:

I'm hoping they will make the tcg more in depth like the video game types without
changing the qualities which make pokemon tcg so much fun.
