New League in Queens

well when you look it up at the POP site....there were 9 registered for the league...BTW give Charles credit for finding this league....its not really new....just that we never attended there
 
Since i'm going to check out a college in the area anyway, i'm going to go see what that new place is all about. What I do know is that the store is very new. It had its grand opening on October 27th last year, and it started League play on November 20th. The fact that its so young kind of fits why there are so few people.

I should be there around 3pm today, anyone wanna meet up there?
 
Funny... I was all set to go sunday and set this (and more possibly) up before you guys started posting about it. >.>

As for who found what and when: I could've easily claimed Acril and I "found" it ourselves about last week during IM exchanges but we didn't want to draw attention to something as unimportant as that. No "credit" is due to anyone imo.
I'll give him credit for announcing it to the masses here but nothing else. It's not about finding it but what we do with it. Duckii please apologize to pikachual. -.-

I know everyone wants league asap but please don't rush.
I have bigger plans in mind. (I need certain details from those who go before I can go on sunday.)
 
By "found out" I do not mean that I discovered that place, all I wanted to know are people willing to go... Funny how people aren't this direct in person. If you have nothing helpful to say why post?

The place seems go but have to go there in person. Free Marvel vs Capcom 2 sounds great though, and a lot of trains go there which is cool. Question is if there is enough room
 
We had a great first day turn out on Sunday, 8 people on first day isnt bad, especially when some of them pledge to be back next week. In any event, We have league 2 days a week, Thursdays at 4pm and Sundays at Noon.

Being that today is thursday, anyone wanna go? I'd be willing to meet them at the train station.
