Yea the judges were really amazing at this tournament, I was making mistakes all over the place (letting my opponents double Dusk Ball after Deafen) because I had just learned how to play, but they were pretty patient and finishing swiss in 2nd isn't bad at all for my first tourney I suppose. G deck is unfair, and I stand by it. Congrats to all the winners and to Josh for putting an end to me in the top cut.

Ugh, I misplayed that cost me the game in finals. Had I won colorado would have sweeped! Sorry fellow colorado players, lol. What can you do when you play against Machamp and your playing Palkia with no unown g's??? haha Congrats to jeff! Way to go!

man that was a intense day yesterday loved the envirment and the way the tourny was held will look forword to come back next year=]

To all the players that attended the New Mexico State Championship.

On behalf of all the Staff, both Judges and Runners, thanks you for giving us such a fun event to work.

The Staff came from all over, driving in from Denver and Colorado Springs, Colorado, Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. The group I was with did not arrive in NM until 2am Saturday morning. After about 2 hours of sleep, we were up for the day. Without all the fun and excitement that you, the players, brought to the event, we would have not made it through the day.

To Patricia, thanks for inviting us to help you with the event. We had a great time and we will work with you anytime.

To Gracie, James, and Chad, it was very nice working with you all. Hopefully we can do it again soon - like at the Texas Regionals.

Again, thanks to everyone that made this weekend so much fun!!

Still can't believe I won states....lulz either way, just wanted to comment on the great job the staff/TO did yesterday at states, Judging is hard and tiresome at that level and they were awesome. It was a fast, smooth tournament with that many players and any problems were fixed quick. Oh yea...came to realize i had been up for like 38 hours straight.....it's good to be home :)

States was great fun, had no inention of winning, just wanted to play for fun playing my blastcatty deck, i was in top 16 for 5 rounds and theen messed it all up the last two games. :/, maybe next time i wont mess up at go 5-2 instead of 4-3. either way it was alll fun and i enjoyed myself playing the pokeman game with people that like pokeman

lol thAt deck was kool lol lucky you got to play all 7 rounds lol but was fun meetin a fellow gym member and watching a fun match lol

OMG. This state was so.......... i cant explain it!!!! But ya I knew what deck i was going to play, right after i went to AZ states and do ok.
But ya this was the first time making top cut at states before, so it was so nice being up there with all the other players.
But ya for those that dont know me i was the guy who was playing with the KINGDRA deck. What a cool deck. All that i lost to was Galatic decks, but won every other type of deck. So i was very happy about that! :thumb::biggrin:

Congrats on all the players that won.:thumb::eek:

AND Thanks to all the staff and Judges for making this state the best it could be. And Thanks to you too Paticia for making all this happened. :thumb:
Hope that i wll see some of you guys at Regionals. If i can go. SO good luck to all. And nice meeting all of you CO/TX players you guys are all very nice and cool. :thumb::biggrin:

Yeah good times all around. Kinda sad I blew it sixth round and lost my way out of the top 16, but overall record of 4-3 is ok. Hopefully Regionals will go better.

Ps- Good job to funsize for representing El Paso and making the cut!!!

Weedler #71

Blond, yes, curly no. He needs a haircut though and he'll have to discover how to use a hairbrush . . .

(from his Dad)

Did William play something other than TyDark? He's so good with it (won CO States and wipes the GLs every week at league), I can't see him changing decks. He's Colorado's "TristanR" replacement in JRs.
