Ehhh, for something as significant as top 100, to get 2 catchers and some sleeves I think is pretty minimal. For the amount of time, money, and effort those players made, I think they deserve something cooler.

Note - I am nowhere near top 100; I'm probably only getting energies.
 
its a shame that they are giving the catchers to a group of small people knowing we really need a reprint if there will be no format this year I guess they are keeping the highly sought after cards hard to get.

Play more tournaments, get in the T100 next year.

Call me crazy, but I think you'd waste a lot more money trying to get into the top 100 than the Catchers are worth in the second market (to the person who really wants these).

And honestly, vaporeon, the TCG is not exactly expensive.. every card can't be 5 cents. If it were that way, there would be no reason to buy booster packs, since, why bother?

I dont want the TCG to be cheap. Catchers are highly wanted cards and budget players want them. This just makes them that much harder for them to get. The Blend Energy are nice and I do hope I get them. I have enough play points for that year I believe.

Yes, it's hard to speculate on the present/future value. With (supposedly) 600 distributed, they are rarer than gold catcher, but gold catchers look cooler. On the other hand there are probably some people who got the reward catchers who will want a full playset to bling their deck, which could drive the price upward.

That and based on past year's rewards as well as the possibility of there being no rotation this year, they might give them out again next year too. I'm personally guessing that's what they'll do.

I'm expecting that as well since only the people with the most Play Points will have them. I'm expecting them to be around 60 to 80.
