This contest has been designed to follow on from contest #4​



BUT with a NEW twist!!! ​

You may well remember that in Contest #4 the winner would receive a replica holo deck if they correctly guessed the cards used by the winner of the 15+ age group.​


Well as we all know Jeremy (Venusaur) swept the board and not only won Worlds 05 but also entered his actual winning deck into the contest!​

Well this contest could change all of that for you!! ​


This time you dont even need to know how to build a deck or even use one!​


This contest is designed so that even your Mom could enter!​

How to Win​

Simple really​

Then come back here and post in this thread how much you think the deck will sell for!​


The winner shall be the person closest to the final auction price without going over the final end of auction price​

Example: If you post $22.77 but the auction ends at $22.50 then you will have gone over and your guess is DQ'D​


You need to guess as close as poss without going over!​

1. Please post in US $ - eBay will convert that to UK £ and we will use what ever the conversion rate is on that day



2. Please do not bid on this item unless you intend on paying, it has cost a lot of money to list and I always chase non payers and I always recover the money one way or another!



3. All of the funds from the auction go to Jeremy (as per the rules of contest 4) I do not get one cent so this contest is not about personal gain for me but purely to honour the prize from the previous contest and also help Jeremy with his new found lifestyle as World Champ.....new car/house/woman etc etc lol



4. The Contest will close 24 hours before the auction ends



5. if two people post the same amount then he/she who posted first shall win



6. Please do not even think about cheating, we can tell if the post has been edited, if you are caught cheating then not only will I shame you but you will also be banned from any contest that I am involved in



7. Remember...it's the lowest but closest price that wins!



8. I reserve the right to change or add new rules or cancel the contest at any stage




9. Must invoke #8 - forgot to say you must be a member for at least 1 month to enter (just like previous contests).

2 Sept 2005 19:15:00 EDT (Eastern Daylight Time - East Coast USA) - that's 7:15 pm local
3 Sept 2005 24:15:00 GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) - that's just after midnight local


please figure out contest ending time for your locale from these examples (which are ALL THE SAME TIME).

Did you read the rules? We will post the exact time soon (by taking the auction end time and subtracting 24 hours), but it will be 5 days and 20-somthing hours from now...

about the editing amount rule

lets say i post $1 then decide to change the amount later,do i

1) have to make a new post
2) edit the post

People like information, most ppl on eBay and def a lot of the collectors will not have know that worlds was even on till some of the early cards got listed.....any those listings have been poor! Ppl like info!

That's why I will be keeping a list with the posted guesses, so once it has been added to my list, that's it!

The cards in the auction are the exact cards which Jeremy played with - so if his deck was all-holo, then yes, but only he knows at the moment.


Or do you mean the cards in the prize??? No, they are normal, non-holo cards...
