New York Pokemon Legue in Brooklyn

Hey. Peter (Blastoiseshellshocker) is trying to set up a league at Kings Games in Brooklyn, NY. This league will hopefully be more organized than our current one. Peter will be the league leader. Please help support NY pokemon players!

Eternalfire is the other league leader too, and I will post when we get started as soon as possibble. I will be making a schedule and I will hand it out to everyone.

i dont go to any leagues but i may make an occasional trip here once you get it set up. gl with it sounds like its going to be a lot of fun.

Just like the way I had to travel to go to the old Pokemon Center league and also the current Neutral Ground league? :lol: It takes me 1hr & 45mins to get to those leagues from Staten Island. Kings league would only take me 1hr and is a nicer/faster/less crowded train ride. :smile:

All I can say is, if sucessful, this league under our leadership will change the face of Pokemon in the NYC area for the better. I promise I will do everything I can to make this league less "boring" as some call NG right now.

wow Everyone is saying how bad league got once it moved to NG. Yea i went to league once there and i was like wow its gotten pretty bad lol Peter and Burger king kno what they are doing so the brooklyn one should be more of a success
 
Wait, I want to be a league leader =( But yet again, Lawrence does have experience. Well, I do hope it is better.

Only problem would be coffee, even though I can get it on my way there.

They closed down Dragons Den I think last year. Last time I passed by that mall, it was closed.

Anyways, I will definitely get this up and runing. I am going to call Kings Games later today for the official Schedule, and I will let everyone know later.

Aww. That's too bad. I'm friends with the guy who started that store. Spoke with him yesterday in fact. I'll have to tell him, in case he didn't hear about it.
 
If the store somehow is reopened, then I must be living under a rock, since the last time I went to Yonkers was during the summer I think.

Since Neutral Grounds is still at the Misty Stages, I will try to bring the players Lt. Surge and Erika kits, so we'll be up to date with League.

EDIT: I got a schedule for the league:

February 10 from 2-6
February 17 from 12-6
February 24: No League
March 3: No League - States
March 10: TBA
March 17: League Play from 12-6
March 24: League play from 12-6
March 31: TBA

Spread the word and tell your friends about it. Hopefully you have a wonderful time.

You mean I don't have to spend an hour getting to league? AWESOME!

Although after years of Sunday OP, this might be quite the adjustment...
 
OK guys, league will start this saturday immediately after the Prerelease. If you plan on going but not participating at the Prerelease, you can still play some Cards with others not playing in the prerelease.

The Erika Season Kits haven't come in yet, just to give you guys a heads up.
 
Dude, you didn't need to bump this thread to say this. It's already explained. Besides, I already have another Brooklyn thread up.
