Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

New York State Championship

If I have to tell anyone that I'll be there, they know nothing.
For me to bring this topic back up again would be..... spam? (mmmmmm.... spam.... *drool*)

No wait, a legitimate response below:
magmar2001: I wouldn't count on that really happening.

Less than 40 people showed up.

The basement wasn't strictly Pokemon, but it wasn't a YGO tournament that was running, it looked like just free play...not that we needed the extra space.

I'd also like to thank 'pop for moving tables to make space in the limited area that there was. I truly dislike going to King's Games, but the tournament did seem to run pretty well (despite how horrible I did...again).

To those who haven't yet heard, King's Games is going to be moving in about a month to an allegedly bigger location with windows and light, 3 blocks closer to the train station. They're also holding a (the?) Gym Challenge in several months.

But even better news is that the Rockefeller Center league is back as well, so hopefully we can get John running our tourneys again.

Pokepop is the best Head Judge so far IMO. This was a way better tournament than Cities. Congrats to Darrell M. for winning with MetaNite. I hope Pokepop is able to go to the gym challenge at June 3rd, because I would like him to head judge that one too.

Pokepop, if you're reading this, thanks for coming to be the head judge at States.

*goes to watch MXC*
