So I have found a deck that works pretty well with Haxorus from PLB

Pokemon - 15

4x Axew
1x Fraxure
3x Haxorus
3x Landorus EX
2x Cobalion EX
1x Keldeo EX
1x Chatot (PLB) [Possibly Suicune instead]

T/S/S - 33

3x Float Stone
4x Pokemon Catcher
2x Ultra Ball
2x Professor Juniper
3x Rare Candy
3x Skyla
3x Silver Mirror
1x Master Ball (Ace Spec)
3x Colress
2x N
3x Max Potion
2x Bianca (or Caitlin)
2x Switch

Energy - 12

4x Metal Energy
4x Fighting Energy
4x Blend Energy (WLFM)

The whole purpose of the deck is low cost attacks, there is literally something for almost everything. Landy or cobalion EX are great first turn early pressure, especially Landy against Darkrai or Thundurus. Haxorus can do alot of damage with Dragonaxe against non-plasma decks, and we all know about Strike of the Champion. I have Chatot in there so I dont have to worry about tool scrapper, but he is kind of an easy prize so I am thinking of switching him with a Suicune since he is on the same Blend. I am still playing with the T/S/S list, I am thinking of running Caitlin instead of Bianca, Caitlin can be just as good as an N at times without helping / hindering your opponent. I dont want to run alot of Junipers because I do not like discarding with this deck. Master Ball for me seems to be a decent Ace spec in here, with everything having low energy cost Scramble Switch seems like a waste to me. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I would recommend running only 1 or 2 landorus since there's still a lot of kyurem floating about so this will help prevent giving up easy prizes to a plasma deck. Also I would run comp.search over master ball since comp.search can get you anything and is much more versatile compared to master ball which can only get you pokemon.

I'm my version of this deck I find that 4 rare candy is absolutely essential if you want to get fast haxorous's set up and ready for when they need to be used.

Hope I helped :)

I definitely suggest you replace the Silver Mirrors. As a Plasma deck player, I'd just Tool Scrapper the SMs away and then just attack that Poké. So, essentially you won't get the benefit of the protection. Suggested replacements:

Silver Bangle(s),
Mr. Mime, and/or
Supporter (card draw)

I also agree with Joltic regarding running Computer Search over Master Ball as your Ace Spec.

I hope you find thest comments helpful.

Thanks guys, I will have to try the Computer search and see how it works, I just really enjoy the Master Ball, Silver Mirror has helped on occasion, Silver Bangle is also a good idea possibly as well. It however is also weak to tool scrapper, so thats a moot point. I have a Plasma deck as well that I run this against and it works very well. I do agree with the running of only 2 Landy, but what to put in his place? I am thinking of running Suicune instead of Chatot since suicune can use the blend energy I have. I know there is alot of thins that can get around the ability though. And Chatot helps me not have to run tool scrapper, but is an easy prize.

The main difference is that my opponent can actually control if my SM will be effective or not. If my opponent Scrappers the SM away, then I've gained no benefit from its use. Whereas with a Silver Bangle, I can completely control when it is used and can 100% of the time receive benefit from it.

I suggest you consider Mr. Mime as a replacement for the 3rd Landorus EX. There is alot of bench hitting taking place, and Mr. Mime can shield your benched Poké in many cases (e.g., Darkrai EX and Plasma Kyurem which will be played quite a bit, IMHO). Although Mr. Mime is an "easy" prize, the "cost" of an opponent burning a Catcher and a turn to KO your Mr. Mime may well be worth it (especially if Mr. Mime can protect your bench several turns).

By the way, this deck should do well, IMHO, against most of the major decks right now except Blastoise-BKEX (again IMHO). How do you plan to beat that deck?

I'm testing out a similar deck on TCGO - but terrakion in place of landurus EX. My critter lineup:

3x Haxorus
2x Fraxure
4x Axew DRV (once i get them)
3x Terrakion
3x Cobalion EX

I run a lot more metal energy, and rely on my blend energy for fighting colors when needed. Mainly because I want to abuse Haxorus first move, against non plasma guys - I also think that 4x Bangle is required if you are using Haxorus as your main attacking. You 1 hit ko plasma guys, but for EX you need some more power. 2 steel energy+bangle is a solid 110 damage.

@TuxedoBlack Though I do agree that mirror isn't needed in this deck, but, I don't understand how you are saying that playing silver mirror is pointless against the team plasma matchup.. .. isn't that the only reason you run them? Lol. Your argument about them just getting blown up by tool scrapper is irrelevant. If the team plasma player is wasting the scrappers on mirror, then you have float stone/bangle. Otherwise, they will just blow up your bangle/float stone but by running mirrors, you are forcing them to use scrapper on them or you auto win.

I also am worried about what this deck has to do to deal with Blastoise. That seems like a rough matchup for this deck. Maybe some Eviolites?

My argument is definitely not irrelevant, especially when I do it quite often. My point being is that a Team Plasma deck, which seems to now run 2+ Tool Scrapper, could easily target the Silver Mirror'ed Poké (the "right one," of course) and still attack it thereafter. So, my opponent would not get the benefit of the SM protection since I can easily defeat it.
