Okay let me add some more detail. To prevent myself or anyone from getting into trouble of possible info I'm maybe not suppose to have, I posted it that way. I was told that they only do 1 print run. That was 3 or so years ago. P!P might have changed their stance on this. However, I am 100% certain that there was only one print run for sets by P!P in the past. Could that have changed in the past few years, absolutely, but I'm just relaying what I was told.

You say that you have noticed difference in print quality. There is a reason that was explained to me by the same people. They have to replace the ink during the print run, so the ones that are close toe the end are obviously going to be darker and better quality then those at the end of an ink cartridge. It isn't a different print run, but how much ink is left in the cartridge. Each cartridge is also not the exact same quality. That's why there is some variance.

Yes. They both have the "Crystal shard" or "Rotom holo" effect to them. They're numbered the way they regularly are.

Now I'll NEVER get my Mewtwo EXs (at least in packs)... :( :(
 
Packs have been sold out here in Southern Mississippi from time to time and walmart and target... which i've never seen happen before. This set is making nintendo money, hand over fist.
 
Pretty sparse around here. I know my nearest Walmart sold out within the first week of receiving them. My nearest Target got decks, which are sold out now, but I've never seen packs there for ND. The "other" Walmart has them in stock, but is scarce. They have been hit pretty hard, but seem to have had some every time I've gone. In our "sister city," which is where my league is, both of their Walmarts have them, though scarce, and I haven't been to Toys-r-Us. I try and stay away from there on principle due to prices. My local card store doesn't move much Pokemon product, so he only orders what I ask him to. I think he ordered 4 boxes and has sold about 2 thus far.

So yeah, its selling like crazy and it is selling out in some spots.
 
It's been at least like 2-3 weeks maybe more since the Pre-Release of Next Destinies, and the card shop that's closest to where I live including Collector's Cache over in Kansas is still sold out of Next Destinies boxes except for over in Game Cafe in Independence, MO where they have like 2-3 boxes left of the set.

To top it off I won't be able to get a 2nd Mewtwo EX for my deck before States and I already know that the metagame for it is going to be just like at the ECC and unless you run 2 Mewtwo EX you don't deserve to compete at States unless you're running Durant. I'd like to say that I was joking about it but I'm not. So yeah, plus one of my friends refuses to sell or trade any spare Mewtwo EX he isn't running in decks.

For those people who say you can get by with just 1 Mewtwo EX in their decks are only fooling themselves. I've tested my deck with just 1 Mewtwo EX and it performed alright but not as consistent as it did with 2 when I played against CTM/CMT and pulled a win just barely. So yeah If there's an EX with reprinting as a Tin Promo more than the 3 Dragons it's Mewtwo.
 
Completely restocked everywhere this weekend, except Target. They only have 2 packs at one and like six at the other. Well, zero after i bought them all...
 
Both Walmarts in town have plenty of stock still. Not sure about target, I'll be going there on Friday after gettin paid. I heard some ppl saying the dragon tins are out at some of them.

Went to pick up Zekrom tin at a Target nearby (SE Michigan btw to kid up top. Grand River/M5)

Had about 40+ packs of Next Destinies and the tins (1 case). Safe to say its going to be there for awhile.

We just went back to the Target I talked about above on Monday, and they had restocked.
(It didn't have the tins though:frown:)
 
I went to three places yesterday and they were all sold out. The only place I've found any Next Destinies packs at all is Wal-Mart. I bought 20 blisters and got a Zekrom FA, and a Mewtwo =)
 
20 blisters! DANG!!! What made you decide to do that instead of getting a box and 16 more packs? I'm assuming it was the EX pull ratio....
 
Where would you suggest he find the box? If it's anything like my area, then this stuff is selling out in the cardshops.and where are you gettin a box plus 16 more packs for $80? Cause thats what 20 blisters from Walmart is gonna cost. I think you might be confusing single blisters with the 3 pack plus promo blisters. I'm fairly certain those weren't released here for Next Destinies.

He was saying you get 20 +16 more packs for the same price as the 20 at walmart. Gathering Ground has them still for 89.99 + like 4 bucks shipping.

But a BOX is 36 packs, not 20.

Ken suggested he get a BOX AND 16 more packs. Had ken suggested to get a BOX which contains 16 more packs it would have made sense. Do you see how they have completely different meanings?
