Dusknoir LVX and Raichu LVX.

Dusknoir will be sick if/when we get the other one... fit a Bronzong MD in there. :0

Raichu... for 5 Energy Cards attached I can snipe for 80 and hit the Active for 100 in the turn its played? Uh, OK!
(that would be discard 2 Energy cards for the LVX attack and then all for the MD Raichu attack)

The energy's discarded from your hand, not Raichu itself, for the Lv X's attack, at least.

Anyway, as for the set...

My first thought was: "Broken!!"

These cards pwn, own, win, and witch-slap (*cough* Y'all should get what I mean by "witch" XD) everything. o_O

Who knows? Maybe Dusknoir will be the one to take down Chomp. 140 HP, and -20 resistance...uh, yeah. I don't think the current Dusknoir will be all that bad with it, but a new one would probably be nice.

That PokeHealer+ is... well, it's deadly. o_O 8 counters off? That's enough to save like, what, 90% of the Poke-population? Geez.

Those +/- cards are definitely an excellent new mechanic, although they might be a bit overpowered!

Winning those Wagers will be even MORE important in the new format, and Claydol will still be a staple.

And Dusknoir is very nice, since once it's KO'd you'll be getting two in-between turns phases to put counters on your opponents before they can counter it, with the potential for more if you can promote something that prevents Stadiums from being played.

Love these cards, format is definitely moving in a direction that seems way more fun.

Want that duskinor Lv.x. Plenty of things can combo with that. Those trainers... I see the search one becoming a staple in every deck. And richu Lv.x? Take out both there claydols at once? >:D I hate Cessation crystal... Are they REALY reprinting it?!? They can't DO THAT!!! If they do, they'd better reprint windstorm....

They should print something to stop Dusknoir.

Cessation won't come again because it was broken after rotation.

But Dusknoir brings 2 dmg counters to everyone even if you have a countergym right ready. Since Dusknoir DP and Dusknoir Promo are both very powerful, it could be a deck like G&G. At the moment there is nothing to really stop Ectoplasm except for Glaceon Lv.X. There also is a lack of good darkness type Pokémon in the format.

Hopefully they'll print some counters. They did it for Cessation Crystal in the same set, so they could do that again.

This is incredible. There are so many broken combos to be worked with on the new Lv X's.

Raichu:
Um, Lv Up.
Plays Roseannes' and searches for 2 energy.
Uses Pikachu's power.
Then attacks for 160 anywhere.

Duskinoir:
Opponent KO's Dukinoir Lv X.
They take 10 everywhere
You bring up Bronzong, spread.
They take 10 everywhere again.
Repeat as needed.

This is a definate positive direction for the format (as long as decks like Empoleon, GG, and Garchomp can still find a way to win). We will have a diverse format :D

As long as I'm playing chomp (Which I always will) I'll find a way for garch to win. Or I'm going to do terrible in tournys.

If Dusknoir will be the new top tier meta deck, the only way to play Garchomp any more could be the one with Weavile. :/

They did, Giritina
No.
Even if the ruling will be that Giratina goes above Dusknoir and it's sent to the lost zone before it can use its power - Giratina does 50 damage for 3 energy what is crappy bad and can't be teched into a normal deck without too many effort.

Basic Dark FTW?? Wevile could see play in a lot of decks as it is easy to tech, making dusknoir really hard to play.
Garchomp can't OHKO Dusknoir even with basic darkness, it needs Weavile. btw, Garchomp/Weavile was a decent deck before Great Encounters released. But Togechomp is a lot faster so almost nobody is playing Garchomp/Weavile right now.

And Dusknoir is still broken even if you tech a Weavile. It won't stop the power.
