NidoKing+NidoQueen uber tank deck?

With belt plus poison you kill sp X's

Yeah but how much does that attack cost again, its only attack? like FFCC? Cool story bro, you can have the Nidokings; I'm going to snipe off all your Queen evos though so you aren't nearly as scary and then I can kill you anyway (oh did I mention I only have two prizes left? hey is that a uxie on your bench)

Iunno. It's possible, I kind of forgot about Belt, but it just seems so iffy with that energy cost.

ive played against this deck and its actually pretty good. 1-1-1 machamp also wrecks sps. and then nidokind with 1 queen in play+belt still has 180 HP healing 20. and its 3 energy with dce not super hard to get out when also using spiritomb

I am stuck wondering why everyone wants to run so many 'kings...

If you're running a rescue, You only need 1, maybe 2 'ings. Pair 2-2-2 'king with 4-4-4 'queen, you get the Turbo 'Queen for early game mega punch, and when they finally whittle through that (Decent HP+Healing makes it tough), you would have the 'king ready to go.

Yeah I'm running 3 kings now and its alright but in a game you only need two most of the time. Also 4-4-4 is way too much in my opinion, but I see what you're going for with the whole Nidoqueen rush thing. That's good in theory, but it would just end up being clunky because you can run things like twins to grab you what you need instead of running think lines of pokemon.

@Kayle: That's why you setup behind tomb, and again, with twins you just search out your DCE/belt/fighting/everythingelse. That's the key to the deck. Also if you play your bench well you won't have to worry about cheap prizes. That's all Sp can do to this deck is take cheap prizes so if you play just a King and maybe a queen you shouldn't have a problem because they can't one shot anything you have and I can.

At any rate, yeah, Twins is the play, but you're still going to be struggling with that 4 energy requirement. I'm trying really hard to come up with a universal Fighting energy accelerator, but aside from RegiStark or RegiAssignment, I can't think of anything. And lets be fair here, Regirock is a horrible bench sitter.

Maybe Groudon from Legend's Awakened? For no energy, it lets you add 2 fighting energies from your hand to any pokemon. Pretty good, and it has 100 hp but horrid retreat.

i guess the reason you guys arent doing well with it (or just not building it at all) is cuz you arent sticking with it and giving it a chance/tweaking it to perfection like yogibear has. I was playin dialgachomp against his deck and when i was able to shut it off and hit the remove lost, it didnt matter for 2 reasons, 1, i flipped tails lol =\, and 2, he had machamp sitting on his bench which he set up with twins, and i struggled finding an answer to that.

Jumpluff did not have a trainer engine; Jumpluff had 3-3 Claydol and only needed one Stage 2. The rest of your bench was usually filled with Basics, e.g. 2 Crobat Gs, 2 Uxies (which was unheard of for stage 2 decks before then, you only needed one!), a Claydol or two, an Azelf, etc etc etc...

This deck would have to use a lot of Spiritomb and Twins to work, I think, but I suppose if played right (and if you lead Queen rather than King) it could function very well.

would it be worth while to discard the kings and queens like mad and use Chomp X to restore. Maybe have a spiritomb/sableye start.....?

Actually, it might be worth while. You have Sage's Training, Regice, and Junk Arm. You could even use Mew Prime to set it up. Just get creative with it.

It would not be worthwhile. I can't imagine the deck would do better using an attack and loads of milling cards to set up in like 5 turns (1 restore per Queen, plus one for the king, oh don't forget Lost Zoning the Garchomp!) when you could set up just as quick using BTS, hand refresh, and Spiritomb.

My line would be:

2-2-2 Nidoking
4-3-4Nidoqueen
4Spiritomb
1Unown Q
2 Uxie

4bebe
3collector
2twins
3communication
2energy exchanger
3expert belt

4D-C-E
3Rescue
4Fighting
4Psy

With more....

actually Kayle, I more or less meant mew would split the job. You use restore for the kings, and aim to candy in queens. It's not an easy deck to make or handle. slow starts, I agree, but Nidoking still would make for a great attacker!

Nidos are good. Chomp X is bad. You really want a S2 LvX that is weak to Colorless just so that you can set up your S2's?

Wait. I just figured out how to make this deck so totally pro it would never fail to set up...

Nidoqueen
