Nidoqueen and Alakazam 4?

I've been thinking of "invincible" combinations to let pokémon take lots of damage to maximize the effects of cards like Expert Belt, DCE, and other nice tools.

Just wondering, has anyone else thought of this?

This combo relies on using Alakazam 4, a high HP SP pokémon like Rhyperior 4, and Nidoqueen. Rhyperior will take maybe 90 per turn, which is the average damage for most good decks out there. Alakazam will spread the damage out to maybe 10 on Rhyperior, and 20-30 on all your benched SP pokémon. Nidoqueen's healing will quickly get rid of all the damage on your benched pokémon, erasing the damage.

Does anyone see any flaws in this?

All comments are welcome, hope someone gets some use out of this.

Dialga G X shuts off your Nidoqueen's body so you're stuck with 20-30 on all of your pokemon. could use it with Blaziken FB though, just Luring Flame up Dialga G X and then KO it with Vapor Kick and the X while it's burned

Maybe a 1-1 Blissey line for healing against Dialga G decks?

*Cough**Cough*Power Spray*Cough**Cough*

Also, now with HGSS I don't think Dialga will be as good.

If anything it will be teched into decks like Luxchomp etc

So if they play Luxray and Garchomp. . . Blissey is just gonna be [DEL]dead[/DEL] knocked out.

Hitters that can OHKO Rhyerior even with Expert Belt attached.
- Gyarados (weakness)
- Flygon (with Expert Belt, but it will probably target your Alakazam before)
- Kingdra (weakness)
- Machamp (Take Out, if you use Unown G, it can hurricane punch with the Lv.X)
- Palkia G with Crobat support
- Gallade (however it won't even be necessary because of Psychic Lock)
- Sceptile
- Feraligatr
- Charizard

Most of them are a lot faster than your Nidoqueen + Alakazam Lv.X setup.

So unless you play against an SP deck that doesn't have either Dialga or Palkia, your combo won't work. And even those SP decks can use Luxray Lv.X and drag other stuff or snipe your bench with Garchomp C + Crobat.

So - nice idea for league, but not competitive imo, since almost all of the decks in our metagame can override the combo.

Why not use Golem 4 instead of Rhyperior?

10 more HP and you could always use its Rage attack.

But yeah, Alakazam 4 is pretty horrible to use (naff Basic, low HP, easily sniped), and Nidoqueen is not a good fit in an SP deck. Seems a lot of effort to set up a combo that falls apart too easily. Fun league idea though.
