Time: 11:00 registration 12:00 play
When: Sunday, August 29th
Tournament Structure: Limited Format, Age modified Swiss, Sealed, everybody gets 6 packs and 30 minutes to build a deck out of your six packs

1st Place • 1 Display Box of Pokémon TCG: EX FireRed & LeafGreen™ Booster Packs

2nd Place • 18 Pokémon TCG: EX FireRed & LeafGreen™ Booster Packs

3rd& 4th Place • 9 Pokémon TCG: EX FireRed & LeafGreen™ Booster Packs

5ththrough 8thPlace • 4 Pokémon TCG: EX FireRed & LeafGreen™ Booster Packs

If we do, it'll be another 20 dollars and it will be 1 deck, 3 boosters and play for half the prizes you would for the main event.
 
Here's an email from the store owner about why it's on a Sunday...

Geez how many times have you all gotten that reason before?

I'm really not out to get anyone, its more convenient for me if it were Saturday, but hey I can either complain and not go or go and have fun.

Also, pokekid, please take the theme deck challenge info off there, none of that is anywhere near set in stone so theres no point having it there. If you want, you can say "Possible theme deck challenge or other flight after main event, TBA"
 
I ended up with a conflict on Sunday...

...and I am running the Brookfield, WI prerelease, which was ALSO scheduled for Sunday.

BUT, bonus for all! The Brookfield prerelease is now on Saturday, 8/28!

So, those who can't make Sunday in Chicago, or who want to play in 2 prereleases, now have options! :D
