Well I made a post a WHILE back but it got lost, and with no surprise seeing the R/S challenege wasn't even done with. Anyways we had a turnout of 27 at the R/S so I think we can get maybe the higher 30's for this event. Unless my curse continous and I miss the tournament due to some weird incident( I realized now that EVERY second tourney I miss due to some freak accident, or huge storke of bad luck, lets hope I can prove myself wrong). Anyways unless we change it to Saturday(I hope, sundays are meh days) It will be on September 7th, and a sealed tournament. You can count on my bro and I being there, lest some odd sring of bad luck occurs.

If I can get out of work that day, AND if my parents will let me, you bet your dog's behind I'll be there. BTW, does anyone know how much it'll cost?
 
20 bux? Wow, well I suppose there must be some great prizes or sometin, cause R/S cost only 15 and IMO prize support was great ;)
 
please let there be RS cartradges for 1-8... or at least half a box for that... please... please...

I think this is how it might be divied up:

1st:
1 box EX Sandstorm
1st place medal
16 boosters EX Ruby and Saphire

2nd:
1 box EX Sandstorm
2nd place medal
8 boosters EX Ruby and Saphire

3rd-4th:
1 box EX Sandstorm

5th-8th:
24 boosters EX Sandstorm

9th-16th
8 boosters EX Sandstorm

That's if there's one age group. If not, than this is completely wrong.
 
Why do you think its R/S Boosters and cartridges? Its a Sandstorm Prerelease

Its gonna be simple,

1st:
36 Sandstorm Boosters

2nd:
18 Sandstorm Boosters

3rd-4th:
9 Sandstorm Boosters

5th-8th:
4 Sandstorm Boosters


I thought this was public knowledge already o_O
 
thx for the info. hmmm... 20 bux for that... might be good enough... I dunno... if its that age-formatted thing, then it will be interesting, with only about 4-13 people in each age group. 20 for 10 is not bad, for 15 is OK, for 24 is good, and for 42 is amazing. I just hope that i get as good a draw as I got during the RS challange...
 
I have a very slim chance of coming...I'm going away that weekend and it depends on what time we get back on sunday :(

According to the latest edition of GamePRO, there is one more card that I know about, aside from the Cradily and Armaldo that we already know about. To the best of my reading ability on a grainy surface in a swirly add, this is the card:

Shiftry
120 HP
Grass type
PokePOWER Fain Away
ONce during your turn (before you attack) you may flip a coin. If heads [take an energy card attached to the Defending Pokemon] and put it into your opponent's hand. This PokePOWER cannot be used if Shiftry is affected by a Special Condition.

[GGCC] Light Touch Throw 80-
does 80 damage minus 10 damage for each Energy Card attached to the Defending Pokemon.

I also know that there is another Linoone in this set, but most likely not as good as our friend from RS.
 
Oooo that shiftry could be pretty sweet in unlimited, that is if unlimited were worth playing anymore.
 
That was from an add on page 69 of this month's issue of GamePRO. It's a little grainy, so I'm not completely sure on the PokePOWER. The attack, however, I am positive about. I forgot about a couple of things about him:

Stage 2
Weakness: Fire
Resistance: (none)
Retreat: 2
