Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

No. 1 No.2 No.3 Pikachu Trophy Cards?

I have plenty of information about these cards and know where 14 of the 50 sets are including Scotts, but remember they were never given out as sets, they were never meant for public release, so most of the remaining cards will be either lost or sold into personal collections as singles.

I also have a full mint condition set, so if you didn't know about those then theres 15 sets you know about

Wow that is crazy i wonder who got it, I would only buy the whole set, but it is a nice card.

Well now we know that there is at least one non complete set out there:frown: making the existing sets if there are any available even any more, even more desirable:smile:

make that two non complete sets, there was another koffing trophy card being auctioned a couple of days ago, not sure if it got bought though, i missed the end of the auction

Really two of them? on ebay? I was only aware of one that had the price at $650 roundabout. Anyway I would love to have a set and if one is unavailable at least the Magikarp card from the set, speaking of which an University Magikarp is up on ebay from the same gentleman that presented to the bidding world after very long dormancy the trophy pikachus! (which of course inspired this thread in the first place:biggrin:) Out of all the prize cards the University Magikarp is one of the scarcest I am aware of two graded by PSA that are in the hands of a private collector and two more one graded and one waiting to be graded in the hands of another collector, mine. I'm also aware of one that was greatly damaged by one of the winners sticking a pinhole through one of the cards. Rumored to be less than 30 in existence (it may be more but it can't be more than 50) and a greatly sensitive condition card this is the start of a great opportunity to own one of the rarest old-school promo cards in the world, I will personally not offer/buy it to give everyone else a chance of owning one of the rarest card in the entire world!

Ya I saw the magikarp, theres also 2 1999 tropical winds on eBay as well. William, I saw the other Koffing on yahoo Japan auctions. Last time I had checked though, no one had bid on it, I'm not sure if it sold. A lot of rare cards have been surfacing lately. Wish I had the money to spend on them.

Ah... such high demand for such scarcity. I hope everyone realizes that Pokemon TCG collecting especially the rare tournament/prize cards have great investment potential :) Who knows that Magikarp card could be the 'Mickey Mantle' of Pokemon in value down the road :) Pokemon is a card game that is still going strong and I don't see it keeling over in any foreseeable future unless some sort of grandiose eschatological event happens. Just think many of you perhaps 10, 20, 30 heck even 40 yrs down the road will see these cards being auctioned and sold at a place like REA for premium prices and you'll be like 'man... should have taken that opportunity' :( I've gouged my wallet and the bank is on life support because that is how much I love these cards! Call me stupid call me crazy but don't call me wrong! Pokemon is no longer a 'trend' no longer a 'fad' its a globally recognized and respected enterprise that has untold positive-potentials:)

yes that is true William, and no sniper I have not received it yet, but I have been in contact with the seller and if it is not here this week I will open a dispute.

Hey, Scott check out what the seller that you got your Illustrator from has to 'offer' nothing! Oh, I sent him a friendly reminder about the whole ordeal LOL.
