No Battle Roads this year?

I highly doubt this is correct. The next season basically starts in a few weeks, and I would think that TPCI would have given more of an heads up than that. Either way, the best thing to do is prepare for the usual. I am also a professor (albeit a newer one) and I have had no word of any schedule changes.

Official announcements for next season should be coming out on Pokemon.com in the coming weeks. Until then our Non-Disclosure Agreements prevent us from sharing with the entire community.

Who knows how long the word was out there, but due to Non-Disclosure agreements it must be kept under wraps. So how the rumor started spreading, who knows.

It appears based on a post upthread that just PTO's were informed, not just all Professors.

I hope the schedule for Battle Roads is posted soon! It would be great to be able to advertise the BR schedule at the upcoming pre-releases. Also, a league owner and I would like to schedule two special league events for new Junior and Senior players in our area--a decklist writing workshop and a non-sanctioned "practice" tournament--for the two consecutive weekends before the first Battle Roads. But we can't schedule them until we know those dates. So if anyone at Pokemon is reading this, please let us know when you can. Thanks!
 
I heard these rumors roaming around at worlds, but I don't think that they are true because they arn't going to leave players without practice before regionals since it is going to be in November.
