Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

North, East, & West Texas City Championships 2012

Seniors was:

1. Nikhil - Tyram
2. Megan - Donchamp
3. Travis - ZPST (At least the main attacker was Zekrom)
4. David (Myself) - Haxorus/Eelektrik

I must say, I did surprise Nikhil with that Game 1 win, but it was so inconsistent throughout the tournament. I had to resort to Tynamos Thunder-Waving his Reshirams with a Fliptini on the bench! Embarassing...

Regardless, congrats to Dana for going there with Mighty Mouse, Nikhil for taking a new deck (for him to play) to victory, and Megan for sticking to the deck she knew best and doing well.

Say, have we all been spelling Megan's name wrong? I can't help but feel it's Meagan or something. (Sorry...)

oh hello im megan. and i won mckinney. thanks everyone for saying i didnt. i was playing donchamp. i just wanted to say something about it. and my brother won jrs in sherman. senior standings in sherman were this.

The only zekrom (most popular card in the format) Dale faced all day was mine in swiss.

Which durant promptly loses to

The excessive use of periods made it pretty clear he was being sarcastic.

Aye, but you do have to admit that if only Zekrom and Reshi-variants are its weaknesses, then it MAY have some validity in being able to take down a deck. But, maybe only by chance?
And I too was being sarcastic...I just have a different way of expressing it. ;)

If Durant hits good stuff, then you lose. Dale just had a list for Durant that did a good job at hitting good stuff.

Great weekend, everybody! Lots of fun.

Had a GREAT time down in Texas! Well run events and great opponents made for an awesome weekend.

Big props to Dana and Dale for both top 2 games in McKinney and Sherman!

Dale was my loss in swiss AND top cut! Just couldn't beat 'ants in the pants' with my stage 1's deck, but either way, it was the most fun I've had playing the game in some time. Congrats Dale!

Thanks to Birch and Boyd for the events (and rob for the judging as well).
