Hope you all had fun. I've just sat here all day looking at my previously obtained playset of Tyranitar... and a few other cards none of you Americans will get till February.

Hey, dude, I'm a home-grown Texan, birthed and raised right next door in the Town of the Cow. I've lived my whole life in a 150-mile radius of Texas Stadium. I'm not the biggest fan around, but I'll back the 'Boys.

I'm just sayin' (or was just sayin' last night), you're gonna miss a great event for a football game.

53 players. Great event. Big fun.
 
So Spotter, you gonna make another visit to Y2K for Nov 1st? Maybe you'll beat me in the Booster draft (if there is one).
 
Interest level in Japanese cards = 0. Sorry. I think they are also made cheap. I haven't seen one that isn't all
bendy and stuff.
 
I rly could say the same for American cards that I've seen. It all depends on the player, not the cards themselves. It's not like they come out of the packs bent up :rolleyes:. Otherwise, srsly, who'd buy them then?

I buy more Japanese cards than almost anyone I know and I can say that they are perfectly good, if not bettre than American (I prefer them, they've got sexy white borders and better holo effects on the Shinys, Lv.X's, and Secret Rares).
 
I actually think that the Japanese cards are a little thinner than the American cards. I just got back from
Japan and bought a lot of IFDS and was rather unimpressed with the thickness of the cards. I could show
you what it is that I am talking about, b/c I do have lots. And it is not a matter of how many I have
seen rather how many I own. *Prepare for sarcasim* Don't get me wrong I really do enjoy going up against
a deck full of Japanese cards and flipping through translations to not miss any thing*End sarcasim*
1 or 2 is fine but I think there should be a limit on how many translation cards you can have in a deck IMO.
That you like those cards is fine. If that helps you feel better about your trades for them good on you.

since you like them so much.
 
Pokemon players, we will be heading to Fort Worth tomorrow at "Y2Komics". Please eat lunch before 12:00 noon when we hand out packs.

Sunday, we will be going north to "Fantasy Quest" in Sherman. We hope to see you there this weekend.

Attention please: I have been trying to get David to take more responsibility for himself as he has moved into a new age group. This season for BR's he made all his own deck choices , lists, deck checks,etc. He has always made his own prerelease decks. But today he had just taken out all of his energy from his sleeves to get his two extra packs. Pulled a couple of good cards . A foil Raichu and a foil Gyardos . He put them in the White deck box with his Diamond and Pearl sleeves. Then traded for a couple of cards. Some where in that short time his White deck box and prerelease deck were gone. If someone has seen it please let us know. He played T-tar and a few lighting pokemon today. We have found lost decks in probable every tournament we have ever been to. I have tought him the right thing is to find out who's it is or return it to lost and found. If someone has found it please return. ( If someone has stolen it... well no one would do that) Thank you, d.c.p.

Someone did find it and turned it in to MP Birch. I have it!!! All is safe!!! :biggrin::biggrin:
