Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

NORTHWEST Regional Championship - Salem OR

Trevor and Deathlord should have told me about Team Off Constantly. had I joined Off Constantly, Off Constantly would have beaten X-Files, which would have been hilarious, as the whole joke behind Off Constantly would have been reversed.

Phazon, you placed 6th in Swiss, so if you were a member of "Off Constantly" you only would have improved the team score by 3 points (you would have bumped Deathlord and his 9 pts from the equation) so the team score would have gone from 21 pts to 18 and they would have lost to the X-files by 3 points.

...OHH.

I thought the team score had something to do with the number of team members in the T16. That's what I get for not reading the rules in the first place. lol.

So, no matter how you dice it, X-Files really did get the best of Off Constantly.

Also, not to advertise, but anyone who wants to see my report can lookie here!

I'm assuming you're trying to stop from saying the word "beat" right? How that got past Jeff I'll never know.

Clint didnt make T4, ilikegengar?

No, he didn't. Clint was 6th seed after swiss rounds, making top 16 with his one loss to Gage R.
Clint made top 8 then lost to David C. who went on to place 2nd.

It was a good day, even though we didn't bring home a trophy.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Congratulations to Jeremy as well for winning regionals in his division and going undefeated. This year's regionals was worth attending and I had the best time of my life except the car ride back home because I ate too much food at Red Robin for lunch on Sunday and had the stench of chlorine from swimming in the morning.

some random kid named Tyler Ninomara got 3rd.

Kayhon WAS 4th place, but Daniel Rattray techniccally came in 4th place.

If you ask me, the guy who Keyhan beat in T8 should have been bumped to 4th.

Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy for Daniel. He's a great guy, but since I beat him in T8, I'd think that whoever lost to Keyhan should get promoted instead. :-/

But still, yay for Daniel. ^^

NW Regionals photos

I posted photos in the gallery. You can see them here.

I just got a new camera. I'm not used to all the settings on this one so many of the photos are blurry. Believe me, it's my camera skills, not your vision going bad.

Regionals was lots of fun. It was great seeing all the Washington players again.

You're talking about randy, right, marvin? Yah I agree, getting cheated out of a win like that is no way to go.

The person I faced in T8 was Randy (forget his last name). Don't forget that Daniel R and I faced off in the swiss rounds. So it's hard for me to say who deserves 4th, but congrast to Daniel R for placing there.

One last thing Phazon, start spelling my name right!
