Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Not sure what deck to play

I can see you getting maybe 2 out. 3 maybe if it's mid to late game. If you're playing with 3, the chances of 1 getting prized very high. You'll have 2 at best.

so ignorant.

Any good Cinccino/Kingdra list plays at least a 4-3-4 Kingdra line for trainer lock. It's not that hard to get out 3 Kingdra.

Really? When did he say he had 4? Even with 4 in the deck, there's no way you can get 3 out that fast. That's a fact. Eventually, you'll get 3 out, but not around the first 3-4 turns.

So ignorant

Did you know that Kingdra is a stage 2? trying to get out 2 is hard enough. Sure you can candy 1 on T2. You better hope you're not playing against a lock deck, or you won't be doing anything fast.

Also Gardevior will help Goth attack faster, therefore being able to KO Mewtwo. Reuniclus can also be an attacker at that point.

You do realize you're saying getting out at least 2 separate stage 2's against the almighty mewtwo ex? His power is unmatched. Getting out 3 kingdras is a lot easier to achieve then getting out 2 stage 2's who are also weak to mewtwo...

Amphy, I don't think you are very aware of the deck in question, so rushing to theorymon judgement = putting your foot in your mouth (again).

It plays 4-3-4 (sometimes 4-4-4) Kindgra Prime. It sets up very fast. It plays 4 Rescue Energy. Getting 3 or even 4 Kingdra out in the first 2-3 turns is not much of a stretch for it.

And yeah, Gothi is pretty much dead when Mewtwo EX comes out. You think Gothi can survive vs a Basic that one shots it for a DCE if you have 2 or more Energy attached? You can't even hide behind an Energyless Gothi either, or they'll just use the other attack.

Mismagius would be an interesting counter to that, you could play both of them to even out prizes and accelerate energy. Mewtwo ex might still be a problem, but Gothitelle could as well play a Mewtwo ex.
