Octillery Lv. X

Made for a contest I actually wasnt allowed to enter.

Remoraid LV 9 40HP [W]
Basic Pokémon

Picture: Several Remoraid near a crystal stone in the ocean, spraying water over the crystal creating a prism of light.

Poké-Body Symbiotic Relationship
Remoraid can use the attacks of any Mantine in play as its own.(You must still have the Energy necessary to use the attack.)

[W] Search for Host
You may search your deck for any Mantine and put it on top of a Mantyke on your bench.(This counts as evolving that Pokémon.)

W – [L]+10
R – none
RC – none

Rarity: Common
It clings to MANTINE to feed on the big Pokémin's scraps. This is an adaptation to avoid foes.

Explanation: Remoraid is small and wimpy, and only level nine, so I gave it 40 HP. The Poké-Body was given to finally have a card showing the relationship between Mantine and Remoraid, and to allow it to use MT Mantine's Giant Wave for a quick rush. Its attack was given to help along the power and make a quick retreat for Octillery.

Strategy: Evolve into Octillery, maybe win T2 with a Giant Wave and set up a Mantine for free retreat.

Ocillery LV 43 90HP [W]
Stage 1 - Evolves from Remoraid

Picture: Octillery is swirling around gracefully in the water, spewing ink and greating a thick blackness around it in a spiral.

Poke-Power Sniper
Once during your turn, when you attack, you may use this power. Choose 1 of your opponent's Pokémon. All damage and effects of an attack that would normally be done to the Defending Pokémon by Octillery may be used on that Pokémon instead. This power cannot be used if Octillery is affected by a Special Condition.

[W][W][C] Hyper Beam 40
You may discard 1 Energy card attached to the Defending Pokemon.

W – [L]+20
R – none
RC –2

Rarity: Rare Holo
It obscures it's foes vision by spitting out a cloud of murky ink. It makes its nest among boulders.

Explanation: 90 HP seems to be the new standard for most Stage 1s these days. It also has a heavier retreat cost. I chose to use an actual ability from the game and fit the sniping cannon sort of theme he has going on. Hyper Beam is an attack he learns, and Beams are just fitting for him.

Strategy: Snipe and disrupt your opponent's setup by removing energy.

Octillery LV X 110HP [W]
Level Up - Put onto Octillery

Picture: Tentacles grip the sides of the card, a furious burning look in Octilley's eyes as a multicolored beam explodes from its mouth!

Poké-Body Suction Cups
Whenever the effect of an attack, Poké-Power, Poké-Body, Trainer card, Supporter, Pokemon Tool, Stadium or Energy card would swith Octillery for another Pokémon, shuffle it into the hand or deck, or force it to retreat, ignore all effects of that card.

[W][W][W][W] Ink Barrage

Does 30 damage to each of your opponent's Pokémon. If any Pokémon takes damage from this attack, during your opponent's next turn, their retreat cost is increaed by [C].

W – [L]x2
R –
RC –3

Rarity: X
Put this card onto your Active Octillery. Octillery LV. X can use any attack, Poké-Power, or Poké-Body from its previous Level.

Explanation: Ink is one of Octillery's signature aspects, so I gave him that. 110 HP puts him just past the typical OHKO range. The Body was used for it being another ability of Octillery's.

Strategy: Clean up what's left and prevent any uprisings. The Body makes it so he can't be forced away

Octillery is broken, to snipe the bench, and take away one of their energies
how would they ever build up if you can keep taking away any energy that they place down?

Good job, but the attack on the Lv.X really doen't make any sense since you can't attack during your opponent's turn. Also, it would sound more realistic if at the end you said: the Defending Pokemon's Retreat Cost is increased by :colorless.

no, it says "During your opponent's next turn"

Note that it is possible to use switch or warp point and then retreat, which is why I had them all gain retreat.
