Which is sad not because it will most likely win, but that so many people will play it just so they can win.
I want fame and glory as much as the next guy, but not with a deck people will whine about.

Jay was talking about BanBliss, my Banette ran 4 Pluspower and 2 Charm with ease.

GG will not comprise of 75% of Masters, that is a bit insane. Maybe around 50% but I think 75% is insane. You think 96 of 128 players will be playing GG and that 32 will be playing something else? I think that I can see 64 players playing GG but not 96 as you state. Sorry man, I just don't see it.

IMO even the 50% of the Masters field aren't playing GG. I have in my BanBliss 3 PlusPowers and in my straight Banette 4 PlusPowers and 2 Charms just like Drew had.

My straight Banette wins my GG over 50% of the time but my BanBliss doesn't do that well against GG. It's closer to 50-50. But Empoleon rolls over both of them so, oh well. I just can't see Banette having consistant enough match-ups against the rest of the format like Empoleon/Bronzong, Torterra or Eeveelutions/Magmortar. So here we come washout....
 
WELL I'm pretty much done arguing BUT if you guys think your BANETTE decks (and i won worlds with banette i <3 him) are SOOOO good then we'll see if you stand with me on that stage!
 
Yea u did win worlds with Banette,but that was Banette Ex,not Banette SW,too different strategies and two different decks :(

So just play chicken Pl0x and win it again?

maybe friedblaziken is saying the correct point.there will be a high amount of GG's 2nd is Empoleon.

Garchomp,Banette,Torterra/Sceptile,Flygon EX, and Toxicroak fun do really good against GG. I really suggest that people wanting to ban Gardevoir is rediculous, Players from around the world might have no problem against GG. Any deck can beat GG if you work hard enough with techs and strategys.=)

Still, GG is going to be played, It's not being banned. GG is good, but what I'm trying to say is It's not invincable or undefeatable. GG can beat Banette with absol, Banette gets help against GG with Toxi, it's just mostly just about the certain techs used aginst each other :]
 
its true also.leafeons has been doing very well .Escpecially the leafeon decks that works with the sceptile ge.
It will do very well also n ive seen that it could take out quite a number of gg's as well.GG will still do very well.Eventhough it wont make 1st.but leafeon sceppy can also be competed with GG if it has the consistency n good techs

Banning a card just seems silly to me, last time I checked this isnt Yu-Gi-Oh. Think about this it is now almost 2 and a half weeks till worlds. Think about all the time and dedication players may of put into a Gardy deck with the intention of playing it for worlds, banning it now would put them at a major disadvange. I should know about this, it happen to me when they banned Worm Sandy from the Prof cup a week and a half before the event. I had a Worm Deck made for months with the intention of playing it in the cup, I understand the reason for the banned and do admit I was pritty sour about it (Going 5-3 and geting 2 Chomps out of my packs and getting the sexy playmat made up for that) but I know if they kept Worm I could of done better. If they would of gave more notice of banning Worm I know I could of came up with a better deck and could of done better. Also banning Gardy too close to worlds could effect players who have come up with something that can have a pritty solid shot at beating Gardy in antaipitation of playing vs GG/Plox at worlds. Also how about some who may of wanted to play a 1-0-1 Gardy in their deck has a tech for any match up for use of supporters, now they are disadvanged by this also? Basicly what I am trying to say here, it is too close to Worlds to ban a card, it will put some players at a disadvange.

I hear the term Gardy is “broken”… implying it can’t be beat… didn’t the auther of this thread mention something about Pooka winning some Lafonte Open with Emp. and beating GG/Plox decks to win it… guess what, sounds like Gardy is beatable.

Also something that gets on my nerves… I hear thinks like “2nd/4th at Nats want in banned” “15-20 worlds players want it banned” “He/She/This Team/That Website want it banned”. What is getting me a little ticked is who cares? Those people only repusent how much of the Pokemon Playing community worldwide through out all the age groups? Less then 1%? Don’t get me wrong they are allowed to have their own opinions just like I am stating mine now but it is what it is sounding like in the oringal post and in things I hear and read else where what is getting me ticked, It is sounding like they/their group of friends should get what they want because of how they placed at a tounament or winning an invite or who they are. Again not bashing anyone, just stating how I am inteprting things I hear and read.

I have nothing more to say but I leave you with this quote..

That is the worst logic I have seen in a while. Plus the fact that it makes no sense because Blaziken Ex and Gardy are NOT comparable. It is silly to even try.

The problem is that there are decks that beat GG almost everytime in 30 minute rounds. However, the bigger isssue is any deck that does loses to pretty much everything else and vis versa.

So then what is going to win Worlds? A random rogue? I saw some posts saying no one is going to play GG, but I'm not sure if that'll be the case if it's supposed to be the strongest deck.

wow after going thru nearly one whole season and we cant beat GG?

i guess SDs are harder to make nowadays...

why dont you go try for yourself and fail when you grind in?

haha thanks for the lol. i NEVER would've thought that a deck that beats everything could possibly be good. =/


oh and in case people were wondering, there is a deck that beats everything. i can't say exactly what it is, but it goes ding dong.
