Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Official PTCGO Bug Thread (Updated 3/7)

Rocky Helmet can be played when the opponent has a Gothitelle active.
Heavy Ball failed to target a Zekrom EX in the deck: This is possibly because of Skyarrow Bridge, or because the target was shuffled into the deck from the discard pile by Super Rod, not sure which.

Another error with Gothitelle. I was running Accelgor-Gothitelle-Venesaur-Darkrai and had a Darkrai EX on the bench and a Dark Attachment to the active Gothtelle I was however unable to free retreat Gothitelle to the bench.

Full Art Ho-Oh EX does not have a retreat cost or it interacts with Skyarrow Bridge like that. On the cards picture, there were no symbols under retreat cost.

I was playing zekeels, with my opponent playing echoed voice cinccino. He attacked my zekrom with echoed voice for 30 (eviolite attached) and i catchered up his foongus and killed it. THen he attacked and killed my zekrom with echoed voice for 80 (already had 20 damage previously before cinccino attacked me). I thought it is supposed to reset if the cinccino goes to the bench?

So anyway, not exactly sure what was happening here, but I KO'd my opponents Levanny NVI, but all of their Pokemon continued to have no weakness. (FWIW, there was definitely not a second Levanny)

It seems as though the cards get updated if you have something like skyarrow bridge or dark cloak or even giant cape which affect the cards HP or retreat and it will be reflected by showing a different number being updated on the card. It's kinda cool but can be confusing if you were expecting otherwise.

When i used cursed shadow on arcanine, it burned me. I thought arcanine ability activates from attacks only.

I was using my Durant deck against a Slowpoke that lets you see your opponents top 3 cards and arrange them before you attack.

Well, I would Devour for 4 but it would discard his top 2, then my top 1, then another from his....

Then, cards would just fly out of my deck. I think it was letting him discard my cards instead of arranging them. But the weird part was that they flew to where his deck was at.....

I have video.

I noticed that but Ho-Oh EX still has a 2 retreat cost and Skyarrow Bridge took both away.

Conkledurr does this also, for each energy he gains 20 HP, it updates the card total each time you add an energy. So when i had 5 energy the card reads 240 HP!!!

hi

does anyone know if there is a bug with the double flip victini?
just faced a guy who was using it and flipped 4 double heads in a row. it could be some extreme luck but I doubt it

If their are no Solosis left in the deck, you are not allowed to use cell structure (NV). This is incorrect, as the contents of the deck should not be known.

To the best of my knowledge its not bugged as i use this as well. I find that a few times i will flip 2x heads without even using reflips. It is still random overall, i will get a game with some really great flips and then some really poor ones the next.

Emolga's (and probably others) Call for Family attack lets you look through your deck when your bench is full. I'm pretty sure you aren't allowed to do that in real life.

Actually, this is correct.

Q. If my bench if full can I still use "Call for Family" to search my deck?
A. Yes, you could search your deck, but not put out any Pokemon. (Supreme Victors FAQ; Aug 27, 2009 PUI Rules Team)

I just had two glitches occur during my game.

1) I'm no TCG player but my opponent said this was a bug. My Yanmega used Agility and the coin landed on heads. Then my Opponent used Catcher on one of my Bench Pokemon. Then during the same turn he used a second catcher on Yanmega to bring him back out and finish him off. Instead, Yanmega took 0 damage.

2) I had Stunfisk and he had Zoroark with 4 other dark types on the bench. I believe his Zorua had a dark claw. Anyways he used Brutal Bash and only did 80 damage. My stunfisk wasn't holding any items.

Hey, that was me! Yeah, I can confirm that both of these events occurred. His Yanmega hit heads on Agility. I played double Catcher to bring it back up and knock it out, but my attack did 0 damage. Later, I had an active Zoroark and four benched Darkness Pokemon (3 Sableye and 1 Zorua, I think,) and my Brutal Bash only did 80 to Stunfisk. No Eviolite was attached to Stunfisk. No other effects were on Stunfisk or Zoroark.

Neither of these bugs is currently on the list. We played this game on 9/6, by the way.

Ninjask's attack attack from Dragon's Exalted has incorrect text.

On TCGO it says "Switch this Pokemon with one of your Benched Pokemon."

The actual card says "You may switch this Pokemon with one of your Benched Pokemon."

In TCGO the switch is mandatory, it should not be.
