I no longer accept anything you say as fact. You ruined EVERYTHING you've said with this statement:

you said:
Also, Bill's Maintenance > Visit.

Straight Draw>Shuffle one card and Draw.

Straight Draw= Less cards off the top for a higher increase of energy for Kiss's power.

Again, if you dont believe me. I'll play you anytime on Red Shark.

Have you tried sentret/furret? Seems to me it'd be a pretty darn good starter mechanism for this, particularly since you don't have to waste the energy drops on furret, and it'd be more reliable than claydol to get out a togekiss in the early going. What's more, if you did decide to use its second attack, you could push the energy back down onto a ho-oh and bring it up.

Also consider Plusle/Minun, since their powers activate regardless of whether ho-oh goes to the discard or not.

Quit acting like a little kid about this. I really liked the list that I played for States barring a couple trainer choices that i couldn't change before the tournament, and that list had 22 energy.

I've already tried your list and I've already stated the issues that I found with it. Your first Kiss might go fine but any others most likely won't, which is really bad because it's not hard to fail a Phoenix Turn flip.

I'm defiantly not being a little kid. I'm stating what I've seen with my extensive testing. I have 0 issues with my list. I'm actually quite happy with my list. I've NEVER not gotten atleast 3 energy, which is 80(with your turn attach.)

How good is this deck when youre Psychic locked??, i played this today vs MadHatter (Im using Magmortar and it finish 1-2 in Togekiss favor). I know is a great deck, but I wonder how it works against GG.

Your only "counter" to getting Psychic Locked is getting set up before they do. After that you one-hit their Gardy.

I also like the sound of super scoop up. I know it's incredibly situational, but it means if you only have one Kiss lineup in hand you can re-use it on the same turn with a candy.

And, I havent tested or created my deck yet, but my opinion of it is that anything of 20-24 energy seems like a must if you want ho-oh going into OHKO mode against the big hitters.

Thats my opinion anyway.

And If I'm psychic Locked I just deal with it...
Any counters for psychic lock?

Do bear in mind that psychic lock does nothing to affect ho-oh's power: it activates on your opponent's turn, whereas psychic lock shuts down powers during your turn. Thus, the only effect you need to worry about is the locking of togekiss. Doesn't solve the whole problem, but it mitigates it a bit, since in order to psychic lock you they need to leave a gardy out and exposed, and it'll take them just as long to kill ho-oh (longer, with decent flips) as it will for you to KO gardy. Further, once you do KO the gardy, the chances are good that you'll have a whole mess of togekisses just ready to spam; you should be able to swing it back into equilibrium from there.

Well, chances are that they will have another Gardi ready to take the place of the previous one, especially when they see that your deck is kinda meh without Togekiss's power. At least the GG list I'm testing my decks against runs 3 Gardi/2 Gallade and doesnt have trouble to swarm with psychic lock...

You can't play steven's... Gardy will use it against you. Just drop them for more wager. Keep one if you really like it. i know its good, but its not worth the trouble.

Edit:
I also see you do not have Celebi*

mrdraz07: 22 energy with holon FF?

No. I run 3 of 6 types and 2 of the last 2.

The G&G matchup goes like this: You have an extreme advantage if you can set up a Ho-Oh on turn 2, which the deck is already designed to do. Most of the time you want to set up one Ho-Oh with 7 energy so you can just one-hit everything and have another one benched if you flip tails on your Phoenix Turn. You have a huge advantage in resistance because they need to flip 3 prizes to OHKO Ho-Oh and 4 to OHKO Togekiss. I highly recommend Unown G because Sonic Blade can be a pain.

If they Psychic Lock you out of your first Kiss, you are in big trouble, but it's still winnable. You just have to manually load up a Ho-Oh/Kiss on the bench and sac some Pachi to the Gardy until you can start attacking. Most of the time if they are Psylock spamming they only 2-hit everything, or 3-hit against Togekiss if they have DRE, which gives you quite a bit of time to set up something on the bench. Togekiss is also a valuable attacker here because two Air Scrolls with one heads will give you the KO against Gardy, and 2 heads on Air Scrolls will give you the KO on the Lv. X and Gallade.

I would say the matchup is 65-35 in our favor, 60-40 if you're not so lucky.

I would like to see the trainer engine you run to get t2 Togekiss and Ho-Oh consistently while running 22 energies.

*sigh* I feel so victimized...

Here's my list I played at States, and I think the one game I didn't get a Kiss by turn 3 was because I got Psychic Locked.

4 Ho-Oh
4-2-4 Togekiss
4 Pachirisu

4 Rare Candy
3 Bill's M
1 Prof. Rowan
3 Bebe's
3 Great Ball
1 Master Ball
2 Night M
2 Roseanne's

3 of 6 types
2 of the last 2 types

If I had to make changes to the list, I might drop the Pachi for Pokedex and change the Bill's to Prof. Rowan. The energy I feel are just about right...it could go +/-1 and do well either way.

Before you start bashing the list *again*, it did go 3-2, and the two lost games were due to play errors.

What do you guys do against a Battle Frontier lock? Believe me with Delcatty running around everywhere Battle Frontier is making a comeback, needless to say Battle Frontier is also useful against Togekiss.

I was debating running Crystal Beach and/or Windstorm to cover that, but your strat is to get a Kiss before they can even lay a BF, and most of the time it will do that. I did get BF'd once and it sucked. I lost that game but I already Kissed once so it didn't really matter, and I made a huge misplay (easily correctable one too) that let my opponent Keen Eye 4 times.

i would guess a swift empoleon deck running cessation crystals pretty much destroys this deck
