ok i am from singapore (asia) and just got my prof pin today ,as i read the letter i found this on paragraph 3

u earn points for judging the tournament, running leagues and more

and i found this in the last paragraph

[
additionally,if u have not EARNED points over a six month period,u may be dropped from the program
/B]

OK NOW HERES THE QUESTION

I AM ABLE TO JUDGE MY PRERELEASE TOURNAMENT BUT MY TOURNAMENT ORGANIZER(LOCAL DISTRIBUTOR) DOESNT LET ME JUDGE ,SINCE I AM NOT ALLOWED TO JUDGE I WILL BE DROPPED FROM THE PROGRAM,SO WAT SHOULD I DO TO MAINTAIN MY PROF THING??

Many of us will be in that boat. Hopefully i can get things working.

Now can you start a League? Are you old enough to be a TO and hold your own tourneys?

Is your Local Distributor a Professor? Hopefully with that clause they will make TOs have Profs judge at their events.

That may not necessarily be true Lia. The professor test may be working by then, and someone else may apply to be a professor in your country by then. You never know.

Well, I just got approved to be a TO, and I do run my own league. I should be cool there. I'm worried about the yearly test though. I really have to bone up on all the difficult rulings. Anyone know where they have all those pesky card rulings?

Do you really thing that after 2 years we are trying to get people starting a league or getting 15+ into this game suddenly some profs will appear, don't count on it. Meaby a lost 15 or 16 year old passing the test but that's somehting else than experienced and willing TO/s

You're kidding, .... right? Just thought I'd ask, just in case. At least they will let you keep taking the test until you passed. I'm not the best with tests, never have been really, I get too nervous, then make silly mistakes. With a bit of work I settle down and am able to get it done. Anyone else have that problem?

I wouldn't hold out much hope on that, but hey, weirder things have happened. Let's hope the more experienced professors have a better shot in your area than what it looks to be. ;)

Nope. I'm not kidding. The paper that came with the pin and ID card said so. I'm going to hate that test... I tried it, and well, not good.

You know, Darksight530, I've heard that this site might have some useful information ;)

As for what Rainbowgym has stated, after what has happened, my league leader decided to quit OP under our distributor (you tend to do that when the distributor doesn't reimburse you for the rent of a City Championship location). Seeing as there are nog many sanctioned tournaments in my area, it'll be hard for me to keep my Professor status, but I'll try. (and I wonder when my fellow Europeans and I shall get said alleged letter and pin)

Yes, I got the same note as you did, Darksight. I was just wondering if you were kidding about where to find the "pesky rulings". If you're still having trouble let me know, and maybe we can work on them together.

Why would I kid? I don't know all the rulings for the unlimited game play. And I know there are questions about unlimited game play in the test, and I need to bone up on how to punish a player for doing something like forgetting prizes and other stuff like that. I don't know if we are going by the ways Wizards had them set up.
