So I decided I should re-activate my account on the new Pokemon site as per the message.


So I log in...except my Username and Pass aren't working...
no worries, I try again...no success.
I check the last E-mail I sent myself considering I had just recently changed my password...everything checks out, why can't I log in?


Last ditch effort, send an E-mail to myself....except I get a message that the E-mail I put in is not assosiated with any account on the site....
I know it's the right E-mail address, I changed it just 2 months ago and sent myself my username and password...

So...why is now telling me that not only does my pass and SN not work, but my E-mail does not exist....

EDIT:

We ask our existing Organized Play users to be patient and, if at all possible, to wait before submitting any inquiries about ratings, player account activation, and tournament or League results until Monday, January 18th, 2010. We anticipate that most, if not all, of these kinds of issues will have been resolved internally by that date.


I'm now supposing that this might fall under the above quote, in which casem I guess I just need to be patient.

I would guess that the new site does not know that you changed your email address two [del]weeks[/del] months ago.

Wow, that's a typo...I meant to say 2 months ago....

When I say changed, I mean that i actually changed it on my account on the Pokemon Website, so I know which one it's suppsoed to be sent to.
none the less, none of my e-mails are regisering with the site



Ok, basically here is the new situation. I was able to get it to send an E-mail, however it only responded to the E-mail I had regisered when I FIRST BECAME A MEMBER, 5 years ago. For whatever reason, it reverted back to my old E-mail, of which is no longer in existance. The new E-mail I use, which I know was at one time working because i reset my Password and had it sent to the new E-mail, does not register with the site.

In fact, I just tried the ORIGINAL USERNAME AND PASSWORD I had 5 years ago (yeah I remember it) and it sent the E-mail...however it sent it to the E-mail that is no longer in existance. For whatever reason, the site seems to not regiser the updates I have made to my account since I first made it.

The data on the site seems to be from the end of November.

They should get it updated soon - I hope.
 
The best thing everyone can do right now is just please be patient and understanding that perfection takes time. The unification of Pokemon.com, and Go-Pokemon.com, is a big undertaking. I can understand people wanting access to their accounts as soon as possible to check info. However, Cities info is not up yet and likely has to be reloaded or remigrated from the old servers. States is still a ways off, and i'm sure we'll have forgotten about this by then. From an entertainment stand point look at all the new features they added. Three very enjoyable, and glitch free online games, a customizable Pokemon trainer avatar, streamlining the TCG and video game sites together for a more unified package, adding years worth of Pokemon episodes viewable a click away, and more. If you still have trouble in another month, then you should express your concern to the proper outlets. However, for now, just please be patient. With an alternate e-mail, why not open an account and try out the online games? That's a good way to kill time, and would give you an opportunity to explore the newly added features. When all is said and done, i'm sure the community is going to absolutely fall in love with the new Pokemon.com.
 
Would this be the same reason that I cannot access the Professor areas? I retook the test in December and it tells me that I am not a Professor. Confusion!
