Old Basic Energy Cards

Hi, So I am building a deck/s and have realized that I have energy cards but they are from the older EX sets! Can I use them in an official tournament? Or do I have to buy fire, water etc. Energies from the new Black and White sets?

Basic Energy cards are always legal, no matter what set they are from, or if they are promo cards.

The International Zone rules still apply.

No "Energie" cards allowed in the US.
