Omanite and Knock off

Hello, I found that the Omanyte from the fossil set have a really nice PokePower that makes it so that the opponent plays with their hand face up. Would that still be in effect when I use a move like Empoleon's Knock off? (Choose one hand from your opponent's hand without looking and discard it)

No. For the play of that effect, they would turn their cards around and would have the opportunity to randomize them.
