1st OREGON player! ^_^ (I win, right?)

I can't wait... I mean really... TWO FREAKING MONTHS?!

Oh well, I'll see everyone then, but first WORLDS! Whoo-hoo!

PS: Hey DS players, you got two months to raise new Unova Pokemon teams for the DS tournaments we'll be doing at these events.

Thanks for the invite BDS.....we might do that.....
Who will be running the Springfield, OR Prerelaease on the 27th, please? Thanks.

I'm planning on going to the Portland one, but it'll be my first time at a prerelease event. Are these things usually crowded? Do I need to show up early? Do I need to buy a ticket or something ahead of time?

Also, I think I read this somewhere else: that we'll receive six packs and build a deck from them, is that right? Sorry I have so many questions - I'm just trying to figure out how this all works.

You can't buy a ticket ahead of time for any pokemon event. Just try to arrive before registration time.

That's correct, 6 packs to build a deck. Basic Energies are provided and you must return those energies after the main tournament. You'll receive 2 more packs at the end of the tournament. Hope this information helps.

times?

do we have a schedule yet?
i'll probably be attending the Milwaukie one, both if there's two in the day like usual
however being on a saturday, i may need to plan something before/after or at lunch break, so a timetable would be great!

I'm excited to get more codes for TCGO

There's schedules on the Pokemon.com site. Looks like Portland and Milwaukie will have two in the day. Here's the info I grabbed:

Portland – Saturday, August 20th – Guardian Games
Medford – Saturday, August 20th – Astral Games
Salem – Sunday, August 21st – Borderlands
Springfield – Saturday, August 27th – Springfield Elks Lodge
Milwaukie – Sunday, August 28th – Round Table Pizza

Milwaukie: 11:00am and 2:30pm
Portland: 9:00am and 1:30pm

Hope that helps.

Just a few short days away. Excited to see everybody again.
We've got lots of goodies to giveaway, you don't want to miss these Parties!!!!
See ya there

DS prizes will include:

-Booster Packs (Black & White)
-Shiny Golurks and Shiny Hydreigons from the Japanese event
-Dream World Vulpix (Drought Ability) and Poliwag (Drizzle Ability) both Modest nature with a Sp.Atk I.V. of 31

I can guarantee these prizes at the Portland and Milwaukie events but not yet sure they'll be available at the others.

The above Pokemon are completely legit, either downloaded from the Japanese Wi-Fi into a Japanese game or caught legitimately and bred from the Dream World. The Vulpix and Poliwag probably have egg moves as well.

But Springfield is relatively close to Eugene.

Salem Prerelease ROCKED today. We had so many new faces today at Borderlands come in for a new event. What awesome giveaways the judges had for us. Worlds items are very much appreciated. Thumbs up to BDS, Mr. Raichu, and Momma_June for making today so freaking awesome!

By the way we had 10 DS tournament players today!
