Overzealous/Scizor EX

Well, my friend asked this yesterday, but it wasnt completely clear.

If I'm using Machamp PK and my opponents using Scizor EX, he uses Delta Reduction, then I use Brick Smash which Overzealous makes it do 70, would the damage be reduced by Delta Reduction or not?

Scizor ex doesn't have Delta Reduction?

Machamp was in HL, so I'll answer it, even though this is technically a PK question.

If the effect resides on the Defending Pokemon, Brick Smash ignores it. (You can usually tell by the phrase "after applying W&R" - that means it's on the Defending Pokemon.)
