I'm gonna keep this short and sweet.
Day before the tourney, I decided to tech in a Cloyster d line to counter this Shiftry ex deck, but it turned out that the guy who played Shiftry ex changed to another deck for this tourney.
Anyways, I let my friend play my Boom (he's in Seniors division), and I went with Metanite, as usual.
Round 1 vs. Edgar w/ Sceptile ex d
He gets energy drought for like 8 turns. I fully setup.

Round 2 vs. Wes w/ Flariados
I get setup with Castform and a full bench with a Cloyster d so he can't drag out my benched pokemon.

Round 3 vs. Russ w/ Flygon d & Feraligator d
I get T1 Metagross d and killed his lone Trapinch d T2.

Round 4 vs. Chris w/ Charizard d & Flygon d
I go first with a lone Beldum d. I attach and pass. He starts with a Charmander d, plays Mentor*, candies into Charizard d, and gets no energy with PoT. Whew! So we both get setup, with mine being faster. So we start to kill pokemon back and forth. Anyways, in the end I had out 3 Draggy d and 1 Metagross DX, and he runs out of Charizard d.

*The funny thing is, if he had played the Charizard d before the Mentor, he could have won T1.
Round 5 vs. Ryah w/ Tyranitar & friends
It was a really tough match, but in the end I killed her Ttar ex and won on time.

Top 8 vs. Rob w/ Kingdra ex d
I get out T3 Draggy d, get a bunch of heads on Agility, and got out my setup.

Top 4 vs. Deidra w/ Flygon ex d
Game 1:
I got fully setup by T3.

Game 2:
I got setup again, except a little later than game 1.

Finals vs. Wes w/ Flariados
Game 1:
I tried to setup Cloyster d, but he killed my Shellder d early. Anyways, later in the game I discarded every energy in play to kill his Flareon ex. He had nothing left so he scooped.

Game 2:
I just got out everything really quickly, and Cloyster d helped a ton.:biggrin:

My friend had also gone undefeated with my Boom. So we open our packs, he gives me a bunch of stuff, and we left the store.
