I decided to try running a new variation of Gengar since I like him as well as Dusknoir and only play using rogues...

POKEMON

3 Gengar SF
1 Haunter SF
3 Gastly SF

1 Dusknoir X
1 Dusknoir SF (Shadow Command)
1 Dusknoir DP
2 Dusclops SF (Dark one eye)
2 Duskull SW (Reaper Cloth)

1 Azelf X
1 Azelf

2 Farfetch'd
1 Unown G

SUPPORTERS / TRAINERS / STADIUMS

4 Bebe
3 Roseanne
2 Looker's
2 Oak's Visit

4 Pokedrawer+
3 Rare Candy
1 Lux Ball
1 Amulet Coin
1 Premier Ball
1 Warp Point

1 Moonlight Stadium
1 Speed Stadium
1 Broken Time Space

ENERGIES

1 Cyclone
1 Recover
:psychic:13

The strategy is to get Gengar out asap and start sniping while you get your bench situated. From here I use Dark Palm Dusknoir to get rid of my opponent's Claydols, Nidoqueens, Dialga G's, etc. However, my secondary strategy with Dusknoir is to use the SF version to keep drawing cards, send him out when he's about to die, level up, then snipe for 120 and let him get put into play as a stadium after my opponent's turn. The Amulet Coin and Speed Stadium are my solution to only having one Claydol and no Uxie, which would be acceptable here since I'm running Azelf, but I'm only going to put him in if I feel it's necessary. I run recover energy in case Gengar gets poisoned/ burned and cyclone so that I can Dark Palm my opponent's active ^_^ Azelf X is there in case I encounter Weavile SW or Darkrai.

Any advice?

Interesting... I've never seen it posted, nor have I ever heard of it, nor have I seen a deck on here besides Scizor / Cherrim that doesn't run Claydol...

lets rewind about 5-6 months ago when duskgar was huge.
running claydol or not, this used to be a big deck.

also, 15 energy is way too many. i'd run like 8 psychic, 3 call, and use the extra for some night maintenance to get your stuff back.

I don't know. In Brazilian's Nats, Gengar was not so used. Ttar and Magnezone, besides Rising Rivals's decks do a good front against Duskgar. XD
