Pidgeot Card (Graphical Fake) Full Art included

The Full Art on Pidgeot looks insane. I wish I could do one like that for my Jigglypuff SP. Especially as I might give it an EX soon.

This card seems truly masterful. The art is gorgeous and the effects the right mix of creative-yet-familiar.

If I had to nitpick, my only concern would the the HP, which seems high for Pidgeot. Note that this is not a complaint about balance; if this card were in the current (and likely coming) metagame, it would need that 150 HP. I just dislike giving so near the current Stage 2 maximum to a Pokemon with slightly below average Base Stat scores in Hit Points, Defense, and Special Defense. As stated, this is a nitpick I only include to keep myself honest. We'd be most fortunate to see a card such as this in a set... unless they reprint Broken Time-Space. ;)
 
Well, as a avid Pidgeot user myself. I think 150 HP is fine. In game they get between 307 and 370 HP with defense stats ranging between 176 and 250+.

Yeah, most stage 2s now have at least 140 with a few having 150 as the highest we've seen. Plus I like them so it gets special treatment.^^

Then again, the high HP is needed right now. Just keep in mind, Pidgeot is servery underpowered compared to its pokedex entry but I do thank you for it. I try to make them all competitive and fun to use.
 
Note that I was using Base Stats, not actual video game scores.

Would I mind video game level HP and damage? Not really. Might be good for the game. Of course, maybe they are delivering that now and we just have low to mid-low level Pokemon?

A friend of mine told me that his friend prints them for 10 bucks. I asked him and he said he'll do the 4 of them for 30. I did not mind spending the money because I'm glad I own a Pidgeot card no one else owns.:thumb:
 
This is beautiful. If I didn't know what cards are out, I'd honestly be fooled by any one of these.

I'm curious about the ability though. You say to apply weakness and resistance, but :colorless: isn't something anything in the current format is weak to (or resists), is it?
