While trying to survive at Toys R Us tonight... I saw the new Pikachu World Collection.
Sorry I couldn't take a pic.. crazy people were crazy. :lol:

The cards did look pretty awesome though.
Just thought I would let everyone know.
 
Will be checking out Toys R Us this weekend then~

But I'm in Canada. Knowing our luck we'll get it in January.
 
Heh, bought the Japanese collection of the Pikachu cards a couple months ago...

Anyway, I saw the ad, but not the product. For some reason, the stores in this area seem to be getting things out late...
 
I doubt I'll get it, I hate WC decks in all their worthlessness. I obviosly need the Promos for my collection though...maybe I'll buy the box, and sell the WC deck.

Not me World Championship decks are not worthless, one of each unique card in the decks goes into my Collection Binder, they are Pokemon cards and you got to catch 'em all!!

Plus the extras make fantastic proxies for leauge, I hate writting "Garchomp SP LV X" on an energy card.
 
Yeah but two problems for me:

1. They are not holographic so they are not worth collecting. They're just boring non-holo reprints of cool cards.
2. I don't play the TCG.

You collect but never play... that is kind of sad. Have you ever tried playing?

Yes, I have. The problem is, to build a good deck you gotta have expensive cards like Uxie and other playable-but-expensive cards, and I prefer trading them away to players in order to build my collection larger. I guess it's not worth it for me. I DO occasionally build a fun-but-bad-deck from my so-so cards.

Anyways, we're getting off topic. So, anyone got the new box yet? What did you think of it?
 
Does a folder come in the package? Looks kinda small for one to be in it but you never know.....And is there a green and blue set like the Japanese versions?
 
Yeah, I'm confused by what's actually inside this. Is it the folder that Mike refers to, just all in English and non-holo?
 
Does it only come with Jumpluff? Because the only WC deck I want is Luxchomp, for the Luxray proxy. I'll never play Gyarados or Jumpluff, and Plox is rotated.
