Ok Im Super Mad About What Just Happened To Me This Week.
I Posted A Thread A While Ago About A Yellow Version Sealed Game That I Won.
Well Anyway I Got It And It Came Destroyed.
The Stupid Seller Put The Sealed Game In A Paper Thin Bubble Envelope And Wonders Why It Came Destroyed.
I Contact The Seller Saying That It Was Destroyed I Said I Paid Insurance For It So We Are Gonna Have To Deal With Ups Now And Dealing With The Whole Package Destroyed/insurance Claim Stuff.
I Dident Want This To Happen I Wanted The Game To Be Ok But It Came Destroyed So We Gotta Go Through With Ups Now With This Issue.
They Said Ups Is Sending The Seller A Check For The Damaged Game.
The Seller Then Said That I Had To Send The Game Back.
I Paid Insurance For It So Im Supposed To Get The Insurance Money.
They Said That They Want The Game Back If I Want The Insurance Money.
Im Supposed To Keep The Destroyed Game And The Insurance.
They Said If They Dont Get The Game Their Keeping The Insurance.
Ebay Agreed I Keep The Destroyed Game And I Get The Insurance Money From Ups Because I Bought The Insurance In The First Place.
So Seller Gets- Me As The Buyer Gets-

I Tried To Explain To Them That If This Was A Car Crash You Keep Both The Destroyed Car And You Get The Insurance Money Because You Purchased It Incase It Did Become Destroyed.you Dont Choose One Or The Other Destroyed Car Or Insurance No You Do Not You Keep The Destroyed Car And You Get Your Insurance That You Paid For.
I Decided To Call Them Up I Thought Maybe I Was Dealing With A Kid Because Nothing They Said Made Sense.
It Turns Out They Are Adults That Act Like Kids.
I Tried Calling Them To Resolve This Issue Because Messages Was Not Getting Me Anywhere So I Called To See To Work This Out Like Adults.they Kept On Hanging Up On Me.i Called A Few Times But All They Did Was Yell At Me And Threaten Me And Hung Up On Me.i Barely Got A Word Out On The Phone.
Then They Email Me Saying Not To Message Them Or Talk To Them Anymore.
Ebay Said Im Entitled To The Destroyed Game And The Insurance.i Bought The Game I Bought Insurance Thus Both Mine.
Im Trying To Fix This But They Dont Wanna Be Responsible Even On The First Call They Started With The Yelling And Threats And I Havent Even Said A Word Yet I Dont Even Know How They Knew It Was Me When It Was The First Call To Them.to Start Off The First Call By Yelling At Me Sounds Weired.
They Said There Keeping My Insurance Which Basicly Means They Just Got Double Pay,what I Paid For And What Ups Is Paying For The Got Double In Pay For A Destroyed Item.
Ebay Is 100% On My Side With This One.
The Seller Said Were Done Here And If They Ever Hear From Me Again In Anyway There Gonna Call The Cops On Me For Being A Insurance Fraud And Call The Fbi On Me Because Im A Terrorist.
They Messed Up And They Want My Money And Insurance Money And They Dont Wanna Be Responsible At All In All Of This And Somehow Im A Terrorist.how Am I A Terorist.im Not The One Making Threats Nor Im Not The One With The Hit And Runs That Their Pulling On Me.
I Paid Insurance Thats What Insurance Is For To Cove Rdmaged Items
Im Supposed To Keep The Destroyed Item And The Insurance They Just Keep The Money I Paid For.
So In The Long Run We Both Get Money But I Get The Game.but They Want Everything.
I Hope Its Alright I Did All Caps But Writing In All Caps Made Me Feel Better.

And If I Was A Terrorist I Wouldent Be Trying To Be Responsible Like An Adult And Working Out This Problem.
They Are Acting Like A Terrorist Because They Are Trying To Rob Me And Make Threats To Me.
Has Anyone Else Ever Had To Worry About Pokemon And Fbi In The Smae Sentence.
I Really Thought These Were Kids Because Im Not Used To Adults Acting This Way.
Again I Talked To Ebay And Ask A Few Opinions And All The Time They Agreed With Me.

Well the first thing you do is never say "So This Is Going To Be All In Caps Ok."
 
UPS does send the insurance to check to the seller. he, in UPS's eyes, is their customer and the one who paid for the insurance. By eBay policy he is then supposed to refund the money you paid for the game as he can't have his cake and eat it too. if he refuses to do so, go through the paypal claim as i suggested in the first place. they may need more info from you, but they will generate a case number. when you get to that step, contact me again and i will give you paypal's phone number for you to call and speak to someone about your case and they will help you dot all your i's and cross all your t's on their online form and get your money back as quickly as possible.

remember- when you call them, they didn't screw you, so talk to them calmly and with respect and they will help you all the way through the process.

leave the seller negative feedback.

report the seller to eBay's fraud report detailing that he received 2 payments for the game. 1 from you and the other from the insurance and he is refusing to give you a refund unless you send the game back even thought he was paid for it, in essence twice.

pm me this jerk's user name on eBay and the item number of the auction and i may be able to help more.
 
i still cant believe the guy knew who i was.i blocked my call and i dident even get a chance to say aword hes saying im gonna report you to the cops fbi ups and ebay about you.then he hangs up.
he dont even know my voice because some how he called me back by accident looking to talk to the cops.
he dident know it was me because he had no idea what my voice sounded like so i told him no this was not the cops he ask then who did i just call.he had no idea ho to identify my voice because i couldent talk to him.
he thought i was the cops.
the first call he yells threatens and hangs up this happened a few times.
only time he heard my voice is to say sorry im not the cops.
how did he know it was me.i dident say a thing on the phone he yelled and had his tantrum fit then hung up on me.and also my number was blocked.
and how was he able to call me if my number was blocked.
how do you mistake a full number tihnking it was 911 for the cops.
what is there like 10 numbers in a phone call area then phone that like 10 numbers right.
i can understand if i made him mad or sometihng but the thing is i dident even had a chance to talk yet alone have a chance to make him angry.
im all confused here.

Well it's kind of hard to make sense of your post but I would say he didn't call the cops, he called you on purpose and pretended to be calling the cops. He was trying to get you to believe that he really would call the cops.

If he really WAS trying to call the cops (which I doubt), he wouldn't have accidentally dialed your number. He would have pressed the redial button or whatever button calls back the person that you just talked to.
 
Hey Charizard Wing! LOL. Anyways I and everyone else on the last thread said he might be lying and I told you I hoped for the best. I am sorry this happened but honestly I don't think there is anymore you can do unless of course you know exactly who they are and if that is the case maybe you should call the police on them? I am only saying they are robbing you and I agree in other words. I hope this was of some help.
 
hey that does sound weired on the last thread there was warnings about all this.was this a coincidence or do you people know/knew something i dont know.
im gonna look back on that thread and see what those warnings were.all i remember those warning were being if it was fake or box or if it was empty.well item is real but the people were fake.
everyone warned me if it was fake or if it was empty.i cant remember anyone saying he was gonna screw me by horrible packaging.and getting paid twice once by me and the other by ups.

look at their rating % next time, and complain to paypal/ebay and you will probably get your $ back it's not a big deal :/
 
I'd suggest opening a dispute on either paypal or ebay telling them in full detail what happened. Do not let the the seller bully you, and don't waste time by chatting to ebay reps.

Best of luck, I've dealt with my share of people like this on ebay.
 
well let's go over the info.
You buy a game, get it broken.
You then call the guy and the guy cuses you out, first problem. How did he know it was you? Even though you have caller id, he can press # (pound) 77 and it's now unblocked.
You then call again, only to be cursed out again and to have some crazy ideas thrown at you, cops, fbi. nonsense. He will do no such thing, bully.
Now he calls you, using either state of the art equipment, or simple way, # 77. And there is your name and number. So he asks for the police and you say something. That is bad. He could do a number of things with that. He may have this planned and that you gave him the final piece to reverse the way we all see it.


You can get your money back, but i would be careful. That guy looks like he wants to do much worse than steal your money. Of course this may be just a bully that wants your money too. it canbe something serious, or it could be a petty thief.
 
I had somebody on ebay this past week posting exact word for word information from my website with my product code and business name for a cheap replica of a product that I sell. I contacted the seller to remove the information and he went and posted my business phone # on craigslist for a free tv, free compiter, and free poodle puppies. I got about 100 phone calls from people in my area for these fraudulent listings. This person has also been signing up my business email for spam mailing lists. I contacted ebay for copyright and trademark infringement and they haven't done anything besides pull off the listings. Meanwhile this idiot has basically ruined my week because he's acting like a 5 year old. All i wanted was for him to take MY INFORMATION off of his listing because it wasnt my product he was selling and he goes and sabotages MY BUSINESS. All I can say is ebay is a joke and everyone who uses it is a pathetic loser.
 
You do know there are criminal charges that you can press if he doesn't stop. That goes for both of you. If all else fails you can get a lawyer to step in. If it were me, I'd call my lawyer yesterday, but your not me.
