Yeah this irks me. I made a list a while back that had 136 cards on it. The fact that so many of those are getting cut is just awful. Incidentally, it had 6 regular EXes and 5 FA-EXes. Initially I posted this saying that I didn't think that's what they meant, but since Exo said that it is, I have rectified that. It fits perfectly. It'll be the 5 from Megalo Cannon plus the Kyurem.

I didnt pick up the Storm box since I couldnt justify only getting damage counters, dice, booklet, energies(which i dont need- im a beginning collector) and 7 packs.
I already thanked Exobyte, but Im going to extend my gratitude by pre ordering 2 of these when it becomes available! I dont need the sleeves but Im extremely happy that they are there, and the extra pack is a nice bonus!

At my LGS, an ultra pro deck box is cheaper than a pack of 50 ultra pro sleeves.

Maybe it's just me but I'm sad the sleeves won out over the improved deck box, I guess I'm probably one of the few who likes deck boxes more
The dividers seem a bit out of left field, don't recall that in the survey, and I'm not really sure what you divide with them? Unless they're literally some fancy divider for use in the box?
Still, +1 pack is nice.
Yea, the deck boxes are easier to find than sleeves. Pre-release already has deck boxes, and Ultra Pro ones are very cheap at comic shops + target/mejier/etc. Sleeves at the moment can only be found in Comic book shops, and come in sets of 50 which is useless. (buying 2 gets you 100 and you have 10 extras and 30 useless sleeves).
Having Pokemon Sleeves is best, and the extra pack could give you an opportunity to get your money back with a decent pull.

...that is, if these sleeves that come with the ETB don't rip on you. Man, when that happens, I'd take the plastic deck box... unless they break too, then I'd take a rubber cloth playmat, unless that breaks too...
and the cycle continues.
I'm glad that the ETB tries to be different from the MTG fat pack. The way WoW TCG does their epic collection is that they include a deckbox and a cloth playmat, and I haven't used either, but they are pretty nice.
Maybe for future ETB's, they can do a rotation? The 40 energy pack has to stay for all of them though, so maybe sleeves, plastic deck box, sleeves, rubber playmat, in that order, if they decide to do 4 a year?

that's why I'm happy it comes with 65. 5 extra in case any tears. If you go through these fast, you're shuffling/taking care of them wrong.

If these sleeves rip, and I take care of them the same way I take care of ultra pros, then I feel the sleeves would be a ripoff. Sleeves rip, ripoff, hahahaha.

Only small flaw is doing Energy again.
If you are an "Elite" Trainer, you should have more energy than you will ever need.
Heck I know I have given my league at least 100 of each energy type (except dark & metal) in the past.
I am not saying people don't need it, but it would be cool to get something different.
For example maybe "staple" trainers?
Like:

Level Ball
N
Skyla
etc.

I don't think sleeves sometimes ripping removes any value from this product. I don't know about you, but I generally only need 1 good quality deck box, and that will serve me well for years. But with sleeves, I need new ones all the time. That is all the more reason to buy at least one of these every time they are released.

I'm saying that if these sleeves suck more than ultra pro sleeves, then it would be much more of a ripoff than if there were something else in it. Same deck boxes, playmats, whatever that is of lower quality than other brand name products.
Perhaps the Elite in elite trainer box makes people elite, and not for the elite? If you already have energy, and you want more packs, it would be wise to just buy 8 booster packs separately, and they are what, $32? Elite trainers also have a box, sleeves, dice, and almost everything that comes in this box anyway, so everything should be removed. The ETB is for people who are becoming elite, who don't have all this stuff.

I have a huge collection, but still like the energy. Sets of matching, undamaged BW energy are appealing to me. (Screw using whatever old energies I happen to have.) Some types like Metal have been in so few Theme Decks that collecting them from those is impractical. (Furious Knights only has 6 Metal Energy, and is the only other source of plain BW Metal Energy, making the ETB a much better deal given the packs mitigate a lot of the cost, and I actually want the flip die, unlike the deck, which in 3 months will have nothing usable I don't already have a ton of, aside from perhaps Super Rod.)
I really like the changes made to this product and will definitely be picking one up. I am especially impressed by the level of customer interaction that was employed to make the changes to this product. The survey was a great idea, and to echo what others have already said, I'd just like to thank Exobyte for his awesome work on this!
Iirc, the energy in the plasma storm box was not the BW style energy. I guess we'll have to wait and see if we get BW energies with this box. Either way, even if its not BW, they will all still match.

especially if they corresponded to the ETB they were in (like genesect outline or the set symbol). I'd imagine that would get costly and return very little to the bottom line however.
