ok now i know that this may seem old but right now i think that now is the best time to use this deck. it has speed and type advantages against the most common weaknesses right now. whats not to love? so here it is and plz dont bash me plz. this is my BR deck.

Strat: start with castform and then Delta Draw and try to get set up asap and then take advantage ofFeraligatrs poke-body and use delta circle. Nidoqueen is there to accelerate getting evos. Night maintenence to get back important pokemon and then.... you win.... i hope.

you might want to drop the castys for another 1-1 increase in the fearow line, 1-1 wont work well for setup
 
if you say so. but i think that the castys could be good for energy. thats why i have them in there. and should i take out 4 electric energies and add Delta Rainbow?
 
not too bad, but if you're going to run delta, might as well throw out tauros altogether and run castform as your starter. sure spearow isn't delta, but you'll get an evo on him in no time. i'd say -4 tauros +2 castform +1spearow +1fearow. then for trainers -2 night maint., -2 steven's advice (you'll have too many cards in your hand, i used to runa similar deck) -1 castaway. then +1 scott & +3 adventurer +1 mentor. and double rainbow is counteractive of gatr's power. you can power eggs on two, so it shouldn't be a big deal, just exchange 4 delta rainbow for them. goof around with different things, i really just encourage you to run very consitent supporters. most of my decks run only 3-4 copies of 3-4 different supporters. consistency is key
 
i thought of castform but the problem is that he just is to inconsistent now without the for sure delta draw. i mean without trans and holons voltorb he isnt good for anything but energy. :/ and so yeah.
 
well, true. i still run it, but i suppose it depends on the deck/basic build. i still like tauros but you've got plenty of energy. i'd sy either 4 castform or none. you need those spots for more draw support
 
I would stick with the Tauros because the Riolu can OHKO Castys, plus you got 2x Castys in case you don't start with the Tauros, so I don't see what the Probloem is???
 
I don't think you need Tauros either. Castform can die 1st turn to Riolu, if they are playing it and get the flip, otherwise Castform is the optimal starter in a delta based deck. Drop the 4 Tauros for 2 more Castform, a Windstorm, and a Ray Ex d. Definately switch 4 Lighting for 4 dRE, there is no reason not to here. With the addition of 2 more Castform you can lower your enrgy count a little as well drop down one more Lighting and 1 DRE or Scamble for two more Windstorm to help counter Cess. Crystal and you should be in pretty decent shape.
 
I agree drop the Tauros. You want to add in Ray d Ex. Cause if castform get KOed, you can kick in with Scrable Energy
 
he has 4 mentors to get basics
that doesnt work with holon castform
seriously, holon castform is beyond dead as a starter, stop trying to make him work, he wont
 
i like the rayquaza ex idea but i am going to go with castform. its no good in this format, it is to easily knocked out turn two. but tauros is a man and can stand up to the heat.
 
Tauros isn't even really needed in this deck. I've always hated using fearow in this deck because of how fragile it is. I've always used a 1-0-1 line of Nidoqueen d. She's amazing at doing the same thing fearow does, and she's got enough HP to be able to attack for a max of 130 damage for 3 energy, provided you have 4 feraligatr on the bench. I tried this variant for a while, and realized that feralqueen is the way to go with the deck in general. Granted you are looking at 2 stage 2 lines.....when you get started though, it's a beast.
 
tauros isnt needed? umm thats the only way to get this deck started. he is very vitale. and is good for getting rid of stadiums. and queen was good when you could delta draw but now it isnt that good so its hard to get her set up.
 
Eggs may be a better sniper but Meganium is more consistant. I would highly recommend it as its also faster.

As for who is the better starter, Tauros, Pinsir or Ching not casty. Casty you would not only need one of your 8 basic nrgs (add more if you use tauros or pinsir) you need one of your 2 mentors to draw. Rather just use tauros to get my basics and use a supporter to draw and set up instead. Delta draw is way too inconsistant to rely on
 
^ actually i know that eggs is much more consistant. Its only stage 1 so i dont need to get rare candy of wait another turn and eggs can do more damage.
