Poison?

I was wondering if you poison a Pokemon does Weakness/Resistance have affect on it? (Does poison get doubled or reduced by 30?) Also do Poke-Powers have an affect on the damage taken by poison? (Powers like Clampearl's Exoskeleton where damage taken is reduced by 10.)

Poison is an effect that happens between turns and is not altered by Weakness/Resistance. Also, Clamperl's Exoskeleton only reduces "damage done" by attacks; Poison is not an attack, and it "places damage counters" (not the same thing as "doing damage").
