Hello all,
My girlfriend really wants a deck that has something to do with her Bellossom d's (or she'll refuse to play with me). So, here's the most competitive one I could come up with.
4 Oddish d HP
2 Gloom d HP
2 Vileplume d HP
2 Bellossom d HP
2-1-2 Nidoqueen d (MT-MT-DF)
1-1 Toxicroac MT
3 Mawile CG (Chingling better?)
20 PKMN
4 Rare Candy
3 Windstorm
1 Night Maintenance
1 Warp Point
2 Str. Charm
2 Phoebe's Stadium / Crystal Beach / Another Holon Circle
3 Celio
3 Steven's Advice
2 Castaway
2 Copycat
2 Mentor
25 Trainers
4 dRE
3 Psychic
3 DRE
3 Sp. Metal
2 Water
15 Energy
The strategy:
Start with Mawile, get preferably Mentor. Start setting up Nidoqueen in the bench, and plant in a few oddishes. Pray for a slow start to your opponent.
Then, when you get Nidoqueen up, start building your Oddish lineup. Vileplume in bench, throwing dice to poison your opponent. Gloom or Bellossom using the Retreat lock. With Toxicroak in the bench, the only method to get rid of the poison is using trainers. As Bellossom is quite flexible, he can use Poltergeist to punish the extra trainers in your opponents hand. If blocking your opponents way out with Gloom's attack, you should aim for poison KO when your opponents turn ends. Use DREs or Strenght Charm for damage manipulation in this. Then you get upper hand to whatever comes against you next. You can also sweep with Nidoqueen in the endgame.
Holon Circles are for blocking an attack, as your Vileplume can poison them without attacking. As this deck can't stand too big attacks, these should give you some changes to survive for another for turn or I was thinking about Team Galactic's Wager, just to give opponent a new, trainer-filled hand to punish with Vileplume. Also thinking about some tech peek card, like Mew Ex, but it's a bit vulnerable here.
Suggestions, fixes? This is for casual playing, something to keep in mind.
