Lets Start a new thread for the Poke-Shack.

We are at 1551 E. Auburn Rd in Rochester Hills Michigan. The zip code is 48307. The building name is; Rochester Hills Precinct Building #5.

We have Pokemon Leagues and POP tournaments almost every Saturday beginning at 11:00 AM. We wrap up about 4:00 PM or shortly after. Please read the message boards for meeting dates. We are constantly in flux.

The League is free and the POP tournaments has a $2.00 admission fee. The tournaments are played under the modified format.
 
Shack events for February:

2-5-05 League and Modified Tournament

2-12-05 NOT OPENED. We will be in Tecumseh for the Deoxy Pre Release
2-13-05 Pre-Release at the Shack! Registration is 11:00 AM - 11:45 AM. Tournament starts at Noon.

2-19-05 League and Modified Tournament.

2-26-05 League and Modified Tournament.

The results from Saturday were entered Saturday night! Congratulations to Jeff D. for the tournament win over Eddie C. in the finals.

Nice job to Jeff M. for going 4-1 in swiss, his best showing ever!

I understand Jeff M and Ron are putting in applications to become T.O.s! I have said in the past that I will share days for being a T.O. since that is a good way for receiving Professor Points. If anybody else wants to apply to be a T.O. I will share with you as well. This helps me because I would like to play every once in a while. I can't wait to try out my Muk EX deck in tournament play!

I will see everyone going to Tecumseh on Saturday or coming to the Shack on Sunday. We will run a short League on Sunday AFTER the Pre-Release. I don't plan on going past 7:00 PM. But, I will see how it is going at that time. Why? There is no school for me next Monday.

Had fun at the Shack today, congrats to Jeff for going 4-1, only to lose in the Top 8. Don't worry, it happens to everyone, it's a top seed curse. XD

I will probably be in Tecumseh with Jeff, and hopefully with Pam and Vince too.
Definatly will be at our PreRelease.
I won't be at Michigan States, I have a Japan Bowl competition to attend. ^^
I'm trying my best to get too Indiana States, I need the promo and the pin. =p

I'm also trying to get Origins stuff worked out, I at least want to get a one day pass for Nationals, participating and something huge like that is cool for me. ^^

I personally, don't see me getting a spot in World's this year, unless that joke about Jeff storming Nationals and winning, so he can take me to World's as his guest, and I dominate the grinder!

Really, after looking at my odds, I want that to happen. XD

Hello Everyone!

We had 13 trainers play exclusively in the League yesterday and another 8 join after the tournament and top 4 finished. If you count me then we had 22 trainers altogehter! :thumb:

I beleive Brian D or Jeff M. had the most points yesterday earning him the Premier Trainer Sticker for next week. But, they left before I had a chance to count their stamps!

I will see everyone next Saturday! :smile:
 
Thank you to everyone who came to league yesterday! We had two brand new people join our league, Kristen and Nicholas! Zade who was brand new last week came back yesterday as well!

Brian came away with the most points during league and became the Premier player! Charles made a last hour charge at Brian but couldn't quite catch Brian's points. Charles had to go and Brian got to stay longer!

Remember there is no League next Saturday due to the state tournament in Jackson, Michigan!

The March schedule for league looks like this:

3-5-05 NO LEAGUE (Michigan State's Tournament)
3-12-05 League Noon -- 5:00ish
3-19-05 NO LEAGUE (Indiana States' Tournament)
3-26-05 League Noon -- 5:00ish (Easter Weekend)
 
Here is the league schedule for the month of April at the Poke Shack:

April 2: Noon - 4:00 PM
April 9: Noon - 4:00 PM
April 16: Noon - 4:00 PM
April 23: Noon - 4:00 PM
April 30: Maybe after the Emerald pre-release. Stay tune for further details.

I have given my league report to PUI for the last island and have ordered the next kit!

hey matt, do u know if there will be league next saturday? cause i dont have a baseball game and id probably be able to go.

The reason: I have a lot of grad school homework to do, I also have to work at the park (the swimming season starts Saturday at our park) and I know some of you are going to the Memphis Regional.

The Schedule is as follows:

May 28: No League.
June 4: 11 AM - 3 PM
June 11: No Leauge due to the Michigan Gym Challenge in Jackson, Michigan
June 18: 11 AM - 3 PM
June 25: ???? Is everyone going to Nationals?
July 2: 11 AM - 3 PM

Hello Everyone,

We do have league this Saturday June 4! :smile: I am still waiting on the next island badge to be mailed to me. I have sent the report twice to PUI over the last month but still no response. :confused: I am hoping they have the kit to me by Saturday.

I do have to work at the park after league. I am hoping to have everything wrapped up no later than 4:00 PM if not sooner!

Hello Everyone,

I will be at the Shack for a few ours this weekend! I am planning on
11 AM - 2 PM. We will do League games and play testing.

I am not going to sanction this Saturday for a tournament because most of the gang will be going to Indiana for the Gym Challenge. I hope everyone does well that is going!

See whoever can make it this Saturday!

PS: I just received the kit for "Fortune Island" yesterday! :clap:

Okay! I think my schedule is just about back to normal for the time being.
Here is the September schedule for League Play:

September 10 --- 11:00 AM until 3:30ish PM
September 17 --- 11:00 AM until 3:30ish PM
September 24 --- 11:00 AM until 3:30ish PM
October 1 --- 11:00 AM until 3:30ish PM
