Pokegear reprint

I just looked over the modified reprint card list and I noticed that pokegear from neo genesis is not listed. The pokegear card from HGSS has the same effect except that it searches for a supporter instead of a trainer. Is it legal to play the old pokegear with a reference?

Actually, the HGSS card is named "Pokegear 3.0" while the Genesis card is named "PokeGear".

They are not the same names, so the old card can't be used.
