I believe 12-16 is a optimal league size.
 
Since we have somewhat of an agreement, let's try it:

That should take you to the signup page. You'll need to sign up for an EA account (for free) if you don't already have one, but otherwise, everything is the same as last year, except for:

There are 12 teams instead of 10.

They call the password a League ID (bottom of page).

I can't seem to set different scoring settings for team defense and individual defense.

There seems to be no options for points scored against, or field goals of varying length.

The teams are separated into 4 divisions, which changes the schedule (division twice, all others once) and playoff (4 division winners + 2 wildcard) formats. If no one likes this, I can easily change it back.

The draft obviously isn't at midnight on September 1. That is simply a placeholder until we agree on a real date.

And finally, yes I know the password isn't in this post. For now, this is a small test, but note the bold.

I did this so that every spot isn't filled right away, before everything is finalized (even though a pattern seems to be forming). Most notably, I'm waiting for Dendrobatida to reappear, as he knows a lot more about this subject than I do.

On a simpler note, when does everyone want the draft to be? Most notably, I need the available dates and/or times for everyone. We also need a logo (100*100 pixels, any image format).

Edit: Dragonsol, is there anyway to change your team name in your interface? If not, tell me your desired team name so I can change it manually. Good to know someone got the password clue.

I can change it, I just didn't want to at the time. I just changed it to X-Treme 13. I think the only day I wouldn't be able to do the draft would be August 12, because I'm going to my grandparents.

Are the drafting orders and divisions in the order they are going to be?

With the divisions, I don't know, because there isn't any way to randomize them other than manually. Do you want them randomized, the way they are (basically organizing them by the way you signed up), or eliminated all together (like last year)? On the other hand, the drafting order was randomized beforehand, so it should be fine.

Currently, the main problem seems to be scoring. There seems to be no way to set different settings for team defense and individual defense, so which would everyone prefer?

For the draft time/date, the earliest I would want to see it is after the first set of preseason games (earliest about Aug. 15/16), but we need more people to give their opinion (and more people total). I still need to save one spot at least (for Dendrobatida), although four people have expressed interest (and not posted since). In other words, if you've expressed interest and not signed up, reaffirm your interest in this topic, or you won't be saved a spot in the league.
 
Personally, I would prefer team defenses. I don't think we need divisions, but if we do I think they should be randomized instead of the order you signed up. Aug. 15/16 sounds good.
 
Right now, I have good news and better news about the scoring:

Good News: I found the option to add all the scoring categories that were missing (such as points allowed, fumble/interception penalties, field goal length bonuses, receptions, etc.) so currently everything is exactly the same as last year...

Better News: ...including all of the individual defense stat categories, so we will be able to have both individual and team defense on the roster!:clap:

Anyway, now is the time to request possible scoring changes or additions (individual special teams work, for example) if you desire. The only change I want to propose at the moment is increasing the bench size from 6 to 9.

I also randomized the divisions, so they aren't based primarily on sign-up order. Edit: I've also changed the number of divisions from 4 to 3, because 3 comes out evenly, while 4 has you playing one non-divisional opponent twice (you play division twice and non-division once).

I say Bench size should be kept at 8.

What about changing the Receiving yards to 1 point for every 20-25 RecYds.
Same with Rushing Yds.

Thats about all I see. Rest looks good!
