Roundtable 22: Ask the Masters, live from Manhattan Beach

Show Notes:

Thanks to Professor Dan, and Pokémon League at Room 67, Mira Costa High School, for hosting this recording. BDS, Chrisbo, GLB & Pop join 'snore to discuss some game mechanics and rulings to note for upcoming City Championships.

We've moved to a regular recording schedule of Thursday, 5:30 US Pacific time for the Fall and hope to get these podcasts out regularly every week.

If you have something you think everyone would like to hear and you can express it well, PM bulbasnore and let him know of your interest and proposed topic.
Be sure to read the Podcast FAQ before inquiring.

Next Thursday (11/22/07) the topic will be Thanksgiving (US) greetings to the Gym, but we will not have a podcast recording, instead you can send the Gym your audio Thanksgiving greeting. Use the audio comment line to send your greetings; comments submitted according to the rules will be stitched together with others and run on the 'cast. Get your greeting in by 11/22/07; we'll collect them on 11/23 and make the podcast from them.

Want to get the podcast?
To tune in you need some podcast client software!

You can get the Windows or Mac version of iTunes as a free download and get all the bells and whistles of images and links that play along with the podcast.

To access the podcast AFTER you have iTunes installed, click this NEW link:

The enhanced version of the Podcast that plays in Podcast clients has episode art, chapters and links that you can see and interact with as you play the podcast.

If you need to enter your feed URL manually, then paste this URL into your non-iTunes podcast client:

If you don't use a podcast client, can't play mp4 or want a file 90% the size of the normal one, try the plain MP3 version of the podcast at:

If you use Digg - please 'digg this podcast!'

Is there no way anyone from outside the USA can audio comment?

Hmm hmm. If you download 'gizmoproject' software, and set up your account, free for VOIP use, I think, then maybe we can work out the technical details. PM me. We would love to have Int'l comments/questions/greetings for the podcast.

Thanks for doing these things! I started listening to them, they are a lot of fun. The only problem is that when I am browsing the Gym while listening, and I can't do both at the same time very well ! -I just listen to the mp3, but if I'm on my Mac, I'd probably use the iTunes option.

Hey great! I have the same problem - can't read and listen to spoken word at the same time

just listen to the mp3, but if I'm on my Mac, I'd probably use the iTunes option.

Don't forget, Windows likes iTunes, too, since most iTunes users use Windows.

I rarely use Windows. I only use it if there is some app that I really need to use. Mainly, I use my Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon) for my internet browsing and school work. Firefox and Openoffice suits me . It seems faster, more reliable, and secure for my needs. Unfortunately, Linux has all kinds of compatibility issues. That is why I'll just download the physical file. Or, I'll use YouTube whenever you post a video, like that one about deck checks.
