I'm going to go to Japan later this year and want to stock up on japanese stuff. does anyone know how much sleeves and deckboxes cost over there?

Well, I'm looking for stuff that I can buy there and re-sell here for some profit, and I figured sleeves and deckboxes are always in pretty high demand here in the US. Unless there are other items you think I should bring back? Let me know what you think.

certain plushies will get some good money and sleeves and deckboxes are around 200-800 i believe each.do remember sleeves are 32 packs and a few are the 64 count

Remember there is a limit on the weight of the baggage. I think it's 50 lbs if it hasn't gone down again. Usually I recommend bring bubblewrap because they will toss your luggage. (had a lot of damage items)

Sleeves and Deck Boxes are less than 1000...
Depending on the type of sleeves, they are that price.

My friend can't really remember off hand, as she hasn't been looking for TCG related items recently.

Be sure to look into what your duty free allowance is. You will need to claim all items you purchase in Japan and indicate whether they will be resold here in the US or be used personally or as gifts. Save your receipts!

We're staying in Tokyo, but we're discussing various day trips to other cities as well. We're also looking to climb Mt Fuji!

Good point on the customs. I wonder if I divide everything between me and my parents we'll be able to bring in more. I checked the sleeves they have there and some are pretty cool; I can't wait to raid the Pokemon Center

I recently went on an international trip... the maximum we were allowed to bring back was... $750 per person if over a week?
I'm not sure if it is the same for you, so you might need to check it out...
Now, just a forewarning, the sleeves they have now, might not be at each Pokemon Center, or there at all by the time you go.

Last I read there aren't any Skyla sleeves at a Pokemon Center, nor Cynthia.
