Guys, we know he sharked, I've taken care of it. stop talking and giving me and him a bad reputation. he's a pretty cool dude.

Alright, sorry. Well, it's good that you have a good attitude about it.^_^

Live from Albuquerque. Great event for my first one and fun people to work with. Pokemon USA is doing a great job with this event. So make sure everyone goes to at least one because it will be worth it.

I am rather surprised Portland is still open. I mean come on, isn't anyone wanting to go ice skating with Pikachu or something? Yes I know the mall there has an ice skating rink.

Sorry to bring this back, but Clackamus Town Center no longer has a skating rink. The last couple of times I was there, a kiddie carnival was set up on what used to be the ice. I guess the management may be trying to distance themselves from Tanya Harding, who used to practice there.

I am worride about a possiblity my firend has given me a pokemon form a game he cheated on... If I am not ussing that pokemon will I still get kicked out?

Basicly if I never cheat and I trade/battel/mix reccords with someone who cheats does my game get ruinned and not allow me to play in JAA?

sorry for all the questions what about downalding the celbi will they let corupted games get it?

Malocide, it probably won't be a problem even if you use that Pokemon unless that Pokemon you got from a friend was a Mew because according to my records the United States have had no promotions for Mew yet.

What do I win for each qualifer?
(64) Sixty-four National Qualifer Paricipant Prizes: A trip for two to New York City to compete in the POKÉMON® Video Game National Championships. Trip includes round-trip coach air transportation for two (2) from the major commercial airport nearest winner’s residence in the U.S. to New York, NY on a date specified by Sponsor to coincide with the National Championships. Winners residing within 200 miles of New York City will receive ground transportation in lieu of air transportation, without compensation. Includes 3-day/2-night double occupancy hotel accommodations (standard rooms) and transportation to and from a New York area destination airport (unless ground transportation has been substituted as set forth above), $500 spending cash, a POKÉMON® prize pack consisting of a GAME BOY MICRO game system, branded apparel, bag and plush toy. ARV: $2,660.00.
does that mean everybody wins or just the winner of the qualifer

Okay everyone here is some new news for everyone to assimulate. First off tomorrow will be the first of April and that will open Denver, Salt Lake, the Houston Space Center, and Seattle! So get ready because I am predicting each of these locations to fill up alot faster. 12 and unders, I am not sure what your status is but you only have until Sunday to get a confirmed seat if you are going to the San Fransico one. As for Portland well 13+ is still open and will be open for another week so use that time wisely. After that it wont be until the 22nd until more locations open up for testing. Remember to watch your plans because there is a chance some Regionals or Prereleases could overlap some Journey Across America events in your area.

Um. Anyone know the times in which the LA one tomorrow range?

And besides the GB tourney and Pokemon downloads , is there anything else of reasonable interest? :p

Hey, I got some important news regarding those entering future Pokemon JAA tournaments. (like me, hehe

From Pokemon.com: "Beginning the Los Angeles (West Covina) stop, a representitive from Pokemon USA, inc will be collecting the Pokemon game paks used by each finalist and runner up for off-site checking. When you leave a game pak, you will recieve a receipt for your records. We expect the game paks will be returned in 2 weeks or less. Once you've given us your game pak, we'll give you a free Pokemon GBA game pak for you to keep, so that you can continue to enjoy Pokemon during the time we're testing your game."

So, apparently PUSA is really trying to crack down on the cheaters. Now, I think it'll be sad that we'll be without our games and championship Pokes for about 2 weeks, but what's great is that we'll get another one FREE. So all in all, I think this is an interesting move PUSA is taking, and hopefully it'll work, and all our game paks will be returned safely, and soon!

"We believe that these measures will help maintain a fair environment in the true spirit of Pokemon."
