Chapter 7 – Taken Down

Chapter 7 – Taken Down

Moza stood by the lab table, a Purugly by his side, against two Abras. The Abras however, we not normal, they were black-grey in color and had glowing red eyes. They sat next to their master, a Team M officer; waiting orders.
The officer laughed, “You are no match for my Pokemon.”
Moza was not about to give up, unfortunately there was little room to battle in the medical lab.
Moza looked at the door, and the large lobby behind it.
“PURUGLY, AGILITY!”
The cat Pokemon burst forward in blur of speed. It stopped once it reached the other room.
“PURUGLY, SHADOW BALL!”
The Pokemon let loose a ball of dark energy from its mouth. The attack sailed across the room and hit one of the Abras, who did not even try to dodge it.
“YEAH” Moza yelled, “that’s how it’s done!”

Back on the bridge, Jeffrey looked up at the remains of his chair. In its place was a Rotom.
“RO-TOM” it said mindlessly.
With no Pokemon Jeffrey had no chance, he never expected a Pokemon to come through the computer.
“RO-TOM-TOM-TOM” yelled the Pokemon as it glowed yellow.
It was using Charge.
It kept on using Charge. It didn’t move or attack at all.
Jeffrey decided to try and advice past the Rotom, but any time he moved an electrical bolt was launched at him. The best thing he could do is stay still. So he did. He sat and waited. The Pokemon continued to use charge. The Rotom’s mission was to stop him, not kill him. So Jeffrey sat down on the metal floor and waited. He did know what for but he waited.

Near the Med Lab, Moza watched as the smoke cleared from his attack, but when it did, he saw the Abra remained standing, with not a scratch on him.
“What?!? That should have been super effective!”
The officer smiled. “And that’s why you lose!”
The officer pointed at Moza
“ABRA, RETRAIN HIM”
“ABRA, THE POKEMON”
The Abra on the right’s eyes glowed blue, and Moza felt his body immobilize and stiffen. Meanwhile the other Abra cast a separate psychic attack that caused the Purugly back into its Pokeball.
“Get the other Pokeballs too” the officer ordered.
One by one the remaining four Pokeballs on the lab bench floated over to the officer. The officer picked them up and pocketed them.
“WAIT! Where is the fifth one?”
Moza was also confused; both were unaware that Jeffrey’s Absol had taken one of the Pokeballs when it escaped.
The officer then he walked over to the immobilized Moza and kicked him in the stomach.
With an “OOF” Moza doubled over.
The officer picked up Purugly’s Pokeball and also pocketed it.
“You’ll…..never get….away with this!” wheezed Moza
The officer looked down at him.
“I think I already have. Do you know why? CAUSE YOU ARE WEAK!” He taunted as he walked away. The Abras remained in position, retraining Moza. This was Moza’s button. Moza was infused with anger, but there was nothing he could do. He had lost…and he hated to admit it.
‘TAKE HIM AWAY” the officer commanded the Abras.
In an instant the Pokemon vanished and took Moza with them.

On the bridge, the Rotom was still using charge. Jeffrey was becoming bored. Then a message was broadcasted across the ship.
“ALL PERSONEL EXIT THE SHIP”
He looked out the window and saw the many escape pods on the ship jettison. What happened next can only be described as luck. Jeffrey’s Absol burst into the room; a Hyper Beam already charged in its mouth. It fired the Hyper Beam. At the same time, the Rotom, who had been charging for five minutes, exploded. The Hyper Beam missed the Rotom and blasted a hole in the wall. The oxygen rushed out the hole, and the explosion’s pressure forced anything near the hole out, including Jeffrey, and his Absol. Anything, including the Pokeball, which his Absol had brought into the room was blown out the hole. Jeffrey was falling on his back with his face looking up at his ship. He watched as what was left of the giant Metagross like ship explode. Thoughts of Moza and their Pokemon still on board rushed through his head as he watched debris fall from the sky. He was unaware that the Pokemon and Moza were off the ship.
“NOOOO! MOZA!!! NOOO!!!” his airless scream was heard by no one. He fell, with no hope of survival. He looked over at his Absol who was falling beside him.
“At least we die together, old friend” he told his long time partner.
He looked at the sky; the sun was starting to set. He decided to enjoy the view before his landing.

He looked around below him. He saw some black parked in front of a building to his right. On top of the building, some sort of battle was going on. He saw a Psybeam and Shadow Ball attack. He looked to his left now; he saw a flamethrower burst high into the air. He wasn’t sure how, but he knew it was his friends. He was nearing the ground now. He looked down and saw the earth rushing up to him at an incredible speed. He was right in front of a fourteen story building and following it down. He closed his eyes, and prepared for impact. He opened, just a bit to count the stories in the building, and something glinted in the sunlight. Something round; a Pokeball! He sky slid, his way over to the Pokeball, but he couldn’t reach it. He’s stretched out his arm, and could feel his muscles tighten. He reached as far as he could and grasped it. He immediately opened it up, with less then five stories left as far as he could count. The Pokeball opened and in a burst of red light his Typhlosion appeared right next to Jeffrey and his Absol, it too instantly falling. The eyes on the fire Pokemon widened and it screamed out of confusion on why it was summoned like this.

Thinking fast, Jeffrey wrapped his arms around the fire Pokemon avoiding the flames on Typhlosion’s back. Jeffrey reached out and grabbed his Absol’s foot. Then he called out “TYPHLOSION, FLAME THROWER” pointing to the ground
The Pokemon acted in fear and blasted out a full power Flame Thrower. It hit the ground with a “KCHISSSSS”
“KEEP BLASTING IT” Jeffrey encouraged.
Their fall began to slow; they passed the second story on the building. The fire Pokemon was still blasting out his attack. Their descent took them lower and lower, and the Pokemon continued to blast out an attack. Finally as they were about six feet in the air, the attack stopped; the Pokemon exhausted. The trio fell to the ground with a thud. Jeffrey got up and moved around. Nothing broken, that was a good sign. He looked at his Pokemon. His Typholosion was exhausted.
“Typhlosion, Return!”
The Pokemon turned in to red light and went back into the Pokeball. His Absol however did not have a Pokeball anymore. As far as he knew it was on the ship, so Absol walked beside Jeffrey.

Jeffrey and his Absol walked down the burnt road. He somehow recognized the place he was in, but he was not sure how.
He looked at his Absol, “It sure was lucky, my Typhlosion survived the blast, although I feel bad about the others…”
He stopped walking
“and Moza.”
His Absol got his attention.
“ABSOL, AB-SOL-SO-ABS”
“Hmm” Jeffrey quizzed “OH!, you brought the Pokeball didn’t you? To the bridge, then it was sucked out with us!”
“ABS” it said affirmatively.
“Thanks, I owe you.” He told his Pokemon with a smile.
It was getting late, and the sun was starting to set. As they walked down the road, past burnt buildings and torn down walls, they passed a parked black van; the same one that Jeffrey had seen before when he was falling. Jeffrey had his Absol follow him into the building they were parked at.
“Stay on your guard.” he warned.
The room they were in was moldy, with everything falling apart. However there were also still smoking holes in the wall, and scratch marks on the floor. There had been a recent battle here.

They got to the stairs and began going up. They heard noises coming from the top, but neither of them could make out what it was. They got higher and higher. Jeffrey noticed that the sixth floor was completely destroyed as if an explosion had ripped through it. When they got to the top, there was a door that led to the roof. Jeffrey opened it. The minute he did a Psybeam nearly blasted his head off.
“WHAT THE HECK!” he yelled surprised as he hit the deck.
“Jeffrey?!?!” a familiar voice asked.
“Josh” Jeffrey confirmed.
Jeffrey got back up and walked though the door, on the other side he saw, Josh AKA Hatter, next to him was his Girafarig, whose mouth was still smoking from the Psybeam attack, a Probopass, that Jeffrey knew was Hatter’s, and a Mightyena.
“When did you get that?” Jeffrey asked looking at the injured Mightyena.
“Just a little while ago” Josh explained. “Sorry for attacking you, I thought you were one of the Team E goons.
“Don’t worry about it.” Jeffrey said, “I have had a bad day with Team E myself.”
“How so” Hatter asked.
“They blew up the M-ship….and Moza.”
Josh’s jaw dropped, “…..wow….are you sure?”
“No” Jeffrey admitted “To be honest, I only survived the fall thanks to my Typhlosion.” He held out the Pokeball. “I don’t even know what happened to the rest of my Pokemon.”
“Well it’s getting late” Hatter announced, “Let’s get some sleep and make plans on what to do tomorrow.”
“Jeffrey looked up at the sunset. “…..yeah.” he said distracted. “ Tomorrow.”

The title changed, halfway through the story so it's different, then the one I told you before.
This chapter was short. Chapter 6 was never meant to be that long, but with all the stuff I put in, it was. Chapter 7 was really to finish it up.

Chapter 8 - Break-out and Break -Down.

Here are a few lines from the next one or two chapters (depending on how long chapter 8 ends up being.)

………………………………………………
"Watch out, more guards on the way!" warned Richard.
"I see them." Jake said confidently, as he picked up his Pokeball.
“GO FLYGON!” he shouted
……………………………………………………

“Wait, you’re alive?!?” Richard asked, amazed. “We all thought you died back on the Snow Point Raid”
………………………………………………………
Jeremy ran over to the lifeless body.
“WHY DID YOU DO IT? WHY SACRIFICE YOUR SELF?”
………………………………………………………
“This is end for you Jeffrey!"
………………………………………………………
Daniel stood up, grasping his bleeding arm.
"YOU TRAITOR! HOW COULD YOU?! HOW COULD YOU BETRAY THE TEAM?!"
He looked back at Daniel "I was never part of Team M, you fool."

Chapter 8 – Infiltrate and Initiate

Chapter 8 – Infiltrate and Initiate

Ok this is like the longest chapter yet however most of those sneek peek quotes will be in the next chapter. I alsoe ended up putting a chapter in between the one I had already planned so Chapter 9 will be "Break Out and Break down" Just a heads up.
Infact I am surpsied at how long this chapter is........it takes up almost an entire gym page....
I do not intend to have anymore chapters this long.....it's hard enough to type this much lol

It was dawn. The sunlight reflected of the remains of the city over the treetops as Jeremy woke up. He tried to rub his eyes, but was reminded of his broken arm with a jolt of pain. He looked over. His Arcanine was starting a fire and he saw Daniel holding two fish over the newly created fire. Daniel got up and walked over. Upon seeing him, his Arcanine jumped up with joy and ran over to his owner. Jeremy patted his new Pokemon on his head while Daniel cooked breakfast.
“Good morning” he greeted.
Daniel got up and carried a stick that speared a fish over to Jeremy.
“Here, eat this. You need to regain your strength.”
With a mouthful of fish Jeremy asked “Where are those other guys, the brothers from before?”
“Hmm” Daniel thought, “I think they went to get firewood, and to see if they could find any more information.”
“What do we do now Daniel?” Jeremy questioned.
“Well I reckon we need to find out if there were any more survivors from the crash and link up with them.”
Jeremy looked around while he munched on his food.
“How do we find out if there is anyone else?”
Daniel was digging around in his backpack “I have a communicator in here somewhere.”
He pulled out an eclipse shaped walky-talky that was bluish grey in color.
“AH, here it is!” he exclaimed. “It’s a long shot, but if any other Team M members in the general area have one, I might be able to contact them.”
Daniel got up and turned on the COM link. He spoke into it.
“THIS IS OSP REPEAT, THIS IS OSP CAN ANY M HEAR THIS? PLEASE RESPOND!”
He set the communicator down on a rock and pressed a red button on the side.
“That will loop the message over and over on different frequencies until someone gets it or responds to it.”

Derek, Michael and Jason were just coming out of the forest, each holding a bundle of firewood. Now that is was daylight, Jeremy could see their features better. All three of them had glasses, and they all had blond-brown hair. The two twins were most definitely twins, as they looked identical to each other. The third brother was younger and shorter then the others as well.
“We got firewood!” announced the youngest one.
They handed it to Daniel who took a few of the logs and put them on the fire. He offered the three some fish, and they happily accepted. The communicator sat on the rock, silent. Jeremy was sitting next to the twins Michael and Derek, who were eating their food.
“So, why were you guys captured last night?”
Michael looked up in mid-bite. “We were from Eterna City…..”
Derek continued “We were outside of town doing errands for our mom…”
Michael interjected “and when we came back, the city was destroyed.”
There was an uneasy pause.
“We didn’t know what had happened, there were no people at all. Everyone was gone. Then we saw a giant Metagross hovering in the sky.”
Jason jumped in “It was being attacked by a bunch of weird colored Rayquazas.”
“Then we were captured, they snuck up from behind.”
After they finished their story Jeremy asked “So you guys are from Eterna City, and are the only survivors from the attack?”
“That’s right.” Derek confirmed.
Jeremy looked down uneasily. That means it will be the same for you as it was for me.”
The three brothers had confused looks on their face.
Jeremy looked up. “I was the only survivor when they attacked my town. They knew I survived somehow. They have been hunting me down ever since. Because of that I joined Team M. It was the only place I could be safe and stand a fighting chance against Team E.”
“Do you want revenge?” asked Jason
“I do.” Jeremy said. “I’m tired of running. I want to stand and fight!”
The Pokemon brothers sat in awe. “I guess we do too then.”
Michael stepped it “We have nowhere else to go…..”
“so we might as well join the Team!” finished his brother.

Inside Eterna city, Jeffrey and Josh were getting up. While Jeffrey stretched, Josh recalled his Pokemon to their Pokeballs. Jeffrey noticed his Absol was not with them. He looked around and saw it on the ledge of the building.
“Careful buddy.” He called out.
The Absol was silent.
“I tried to find other Team M members, but I picked up nothing with my telepathic link.” Josh admitted.
“I have a better idea!” Jeffrey said.
He pulled the COM link out of his pocket. “I was using this with Moza back on the ship. If anyone one else has one, we’ll find it.”

Back at the make-shift camp, the radio jolted to life.
“OSP…..Absoltrainer…..Hatter……Copy?”
Daniel, Jeremy, and the three brothers dropped their fish and ran over to the rock the communicator sat on. Daniel picked up the communicator and held it close to his mouth.
“This is OSP repeat OSP, can you hear me?”
A voice came back through the COM link. “Roger that……… lots ……static….out of range……..Absoltrainer.”
Jeremy looked at Daniel hopeful. “Well, are we gonna be rescued?”
Daniel was tinkering with the antenna on the communicator, “I think so Jeremy, I think so.”
The COM link jumped to life again “OSP…..Absoltrainer…………show…..sign…..location!”
The group looked confused.
“I think he wants a sign to show them where our location is.” perked up Jason.
Jeremy got up “Ok then. ARCANINE, FLAMETHROWER IN TO THE SKY!”
The fire dog jumped to its feet, aimed its head into the sky and launched the attack. The Flamethrower could be seen for miles as the pillar of fire burst into the sky. After a few minutes, the communicator was making noises again.
“Good morning, how are you this fine day?”
Daniel couldn’t help but laugh
Over the COM link again “This is Absol and Hatter, we are closing in on your location, ETA roughly ten minutes.”
Daniel picked up the communicator grinning cheek to cheek “Roger that, this is OSP, I got Jeremy and three pickups.”
“Pickups?” Jeffrey questioned over the COM link?
“I’ll explain later” continued Daniel “Let’s meet up and make a plan.”
“Are you by a road?” asked Jeffrey.
Daniel looked around, “Well head towards the city, if there is a road near the forest, we’ll wait there.”
Jeffrey confirmed the plan and then the radio went silent.
“Well, let’s get moving” Daniel told his group.

They doused the fire, broke down he shelter and headed towards the city. In about five minutes they reached a road heading into the city. They stopped and awaited their contact. Within a few more minutes a black van came tearing down the rode towards them. The van had a bright blue “E” on it.
“TEAM E” Jeremy shouted.
The group dived into the bushed near them and went prone. They watched the van come to a screeching halt right in front of them. The door slid out and opened up. Two men wearing Team E uniforms stepped out with an Absol following them. Daniel looked at them, then stood up and said “I surrender.”
The others were confused and laid in awe, why on earth would Daniel surrender like that.
“Come on guys, you can get up” Daniel called. It’s Josh and Jeff. The other got up from the bushes and came out.
“Nice duds.” Daniel complimented. “What’s the occasion?”
“You like?” Jeffrey said looking down at his cloths. “We took them from some goons Josh here” he pointed at Hatter “beat the living daylights out of.”
Josh nodded transfixed on something past Daniel. Jeffrey was looking at it too.
“The-th-there’s a Pokeball on Jeremy’s belt?!” Jeffrey exclaimed pointing at Jeremy.
Jeremy looked surprised, “Oh yeah, this is my Arcanine, he used to be my pet from my old home. Somehow he survived the attack and evolved. He rescued us just in time last night!”
“Any idea who sent him?” Jeffrey asked.
Jeremy shook his head.
“We can fix that!” Jeffrey assured him. “Josh, we need your abilities?”
Josh understood.
“Jeremy” he asked “Please release your Arcanine.”
Jeremy was not sure why, but he did it anyways. He took the Pokeball off his belt and tossed it in to the air. It opened up and in a burst of light his Arcanine appeared.
“ARRRRRRRR” it howled.
Josh walked over to the Pokemon, closed his eyes and stood in front of it.
Hello, my friend, how are you?
The Pokemon looked surprised “Yo-you-you can communicate with me?
Yes, I can. I can telepathically talk to Pokemon, I have some questions for you.
The three Pokemon brothers and Jeremy looked at the Arcanine making noises to the silent Hatter.
“What’s going on?” Jeremy asked Jeffrey.
Jeffrey rolled his eyes “You newb! Josh can communicate with Pokemon using his mind. He was born in Saffron city or something so he has they weird powers. I dunno much about him. He was an early member of the Team though.”
Jeffrey nodded, although he was still confused.
Josh opened his eyes and went over to the others who were still watching him.
“Arcanine says he cannot remember anything. He says that he woke up after the initial attack at the shelter of a man whose name he never learned. He went on to say that the man raised and took care of him and eventually evolved him. He finished up by telling me that it was in the city close to this one and that he did not pass any other cities on the way here.”
Jeremy looked at his Pokemon. “Wow, that means that someone was looking out for me.”
He looked down. “WE HAVE TO GO TO THAT CITY AND FIND OUT WHO THAT MAN WAS!”
Jeffrey put his hand on Jeremy’s shoulder “We will, but first things, first. We need to rescue the other Team M members.” He looked at the three brothers. “Ah, I see, you three are the pickups.”
They looked confused. Jeffrey took no notice.

Jeremy and the Pokemon brothers were off talking about their Pokemon, while Jeffrey took Daniel and Josh aside. His Absol was standing by the van, ever alert.
“Did you learn anything?” he asked Daniel.
“No sorry,” he admitted “we got a little tied up…literally by some bozos call TRUK squad.”
“Well, I don’t like what I learned Jeffrey told him. “Moza and I heard an officer talking to his subordinates. He said something about “batches of people making good Pokemon” and about his experiment working. He said something about brainwashing Pokemon as well. I dunno what to make of it.”
“That horrible!” Daniel said aghast.
“My story is not much better” said Josh. “I heard more about the brainwashing, I heard it from the Pokemon’s point of view. It’s pretty bad. They had a system of master and servant going on with the Pokemon.”
The three pondered the new information. After a few moments Jeffrey called the others over to the van. He opened up the back door and got in. He stood facing the group. “First off the pickups. You are temporary members of Team M. If you do well on this mission I will give you full membership.”
They looked confused
Daniel leaned over to them “say yes”
They said yes.
Jeffrey was standing in the van overlooking the others, “Now for the mission, as you all know four members of Team M are MIA (Missing in Action). We have no idea where they are, but we do know that Team E was responsible for the attack on the M-ship and most likely captured at least one of them. The basis of this mission is that we will infiltrate the Team E base located near here and attempt to free the other Team E members. We will use the van here and several uniforms taken from Team E members that Josh here defeated. The location of the base is unknown; however the Mightyena that Josh recently captured was formally a Team E Pokemon and knows the whereabouts of the base. Josh will communicate with the Pokemon and find the location of the base. Once we get to the base, we will use the van to get inside. Once we do we will use one of the pickups” He looked at Jason, Michael and Derek “as a fake prisoner. We will tell whoever we need to that we need to take our prisoner to the prison cell and use that to get to the others. I will split off from the group when I get a chance and see if I can’t cause a bit of mayhem in the computer system. Once we break them out, we need to try and get the Pokemon, assuming that they have not been brainwashed yet.”
Jeffrey scanned the group.
“This is a high-stakes mission. Every detail counts, don’t let any variable through. Any questions?”
No one raised their hand. Everyone looked nervous except for Josh, who kept his calm look.
“Well then, if there are no issues, then let’s get to it!”

Jeremy, and Daniel changed into Team E uniforms. Derek, Michael and Jason, would not stop arguing over who would be the prisoner, so Jeffrey decided that all three of them would suffice. Meanwhile Josh talked to the Mightyena who remembered exactly where to go. They piled into the car. Jeffrey drove while Josh sat in shotgun. Meanwhile they hid their Pokeballs in their pockets in case they need them.

After a while of driving, Josh told them to go off to a dirt road. They did as he said since he got instructions from his Mightyena. After a while of driving they reached a toll booth. Jeffrey stopped the van and rolled down the window. A man in a Team E uniform walked over to the driver’s side and looked I the window.
“State your business.” He ordered
Jeffrey saluted the officer. “SIR, I am coming back from Eterna city, my commanding officer and my squad were attacked by those three there.” He pointed to the back of the van where Jeremy and Daniel, in Team E uniforms sat around the three Pokemon brothers. “We think they are part of the underground resistance. Me and what is left of my squad are here to imprison them with the others.”
“Very well” the guard said and he pressed a button on his belt.
The gate opened up and Jeffrey rolled up his window and drove in. The dirt road suddenly became a smooth concrete pathway. The pathway led to a garage where hundreds of other vans were parked. They found an unused parking spot and exited the van. They found an elevator on the same level and took it up. They went to the floor labeled “main”. Once they got there, the elevator door opened and they saw a woman sitting behind a desk. She was wearing a Team E blouse that like the Uniform was black, with a blue E on it.
“State your business.” She ordered like the guard.
“We are here to take these prisoners to the detention block.” Daniel told the lady
“And I have been assigned to the computer database and electrical configuration team here.” added Jeffrey
The lady looked confused “I was not made aware of any new prisoners or employees to the CDEC department.”
Daniel started to say something but Jeffrey interrupted him “I would not be surprised ma’am. The computer communications has been having some errors, entire reports have been deleted. It is possible that the order was erased from file. That was the whole reason I was contacted ma’am.”
“And the Absol?” the women asked looking at Jeffrey’s Pokemon.
“My Pokeball for him was damaged.” He assured her.
The women looked skeptical, but let them pass.

They walked down the hallways Jeffrey was in front, behind him was Daniel and Josh who stood surrounding Jason, Derek, and Michael with Jeremy bringing up the rear. As they went farther down the hall, they spotted the detention center. They walked in to the first room. It was a circular room with several control panels and cameras in the center. Daniel walked up to the three men at the control panels.
“We are the next shift. We also brought some transfers.”
The men looked at the prisoners and the people surrounding them. They got up and got ready to leave the room.
Josh called out to them “Just a sec please.”
They stopped and looked at him.
“Girafarig, Hypnosis!”
A red light came out of his pocket and his Pokemon appeared. Its eyes glowed blue and the three Team E grunts fell to the ground. Daniel went over and closed the door. Then the group took the sleeping grunts to an empty jail cell and threw them in. Jeffrey was checking the panels to find out where their friends were.
“Cell A-6!” called Jeffrey.
Daniel, and Jeremy ran down the halls of cells until they reached A-6. Once they did they looked inside. Sure enough, inside sat Richard, Jake, and Sedaka.
“GUYS!” Daniel called out “It’s us, hey!”
Richard got up with the others and walked over.
“DANIEL?!?!” he asked surprised. “Oh my God, you guys are alive.”
Daniel looked over at him, “We’re going to bust you guys out!”
He stopped.
“Where’s Anthoy?”
No one answered. There was an uneasy silence.
Jeremy came over next
“Hey!” Richard said, “It’s Venasaur! How you doing”
Jeremy didn’t say anything.
Richard looked insulted “Killjoy.”
Jeremy looked at Daniel. “I’m staying here with you and the others. Jeffrey and Josh are going to try and find the computer room and the Pokeballs.”
Everyone acknowledged he plan.

In the mean time Jeffrey and Josh were already on their way down the halls to the computer rooms. No one took a second look at them as they walked down the hallways of the enemy base. They saw several people walking around with their Pokemon out; the two of them blended in perfectly. They followed signs and eventually reached the main computer room, the walked in. Inside were many scientists and Team E members. At the end of the room was a vault door.
“That has to be the main computer database” Jeffrey whispered to Josh.
They walked past all the scientists to the end of the room. Jeffrey approached the door. A large muscular man stepped in front of them.
“HALT!” he said in a low commanding voice. “Do you have authorization to enter the Main Data Base Facility?”
Jeffrey was stumped; he didn’t have a pass code or papers to enter.
“Well my fine sir. I am a new transfer to this base and I need to register with the main system.”
The man pointed to another station in the room “You can do that over there.”
“Thanks.” Jeffrey said sarcastically as they walked away.
“Now what?” asked Josh.
“Now”, Jeffrey said, “I have a plan.”
Everyone was doing their own thing, so no one noticed Jeffrey pull out his COM link.
“Jeremy you there?” he asked
Daniel picked up the communicator and gave it to Jeremy.
“Yes Jeffrey, what do you need?” he asked.
Jeffrey smiled on the other line “You are my new errand boy.”

The next thing Jeremy knew he was double timing down the hall to the computer lab that Jeffrey and Josh were in. He burst in out of breath.
“THERE’S A ENEMY SPY IN HERE!” he yelled.
The entire room went chaotic, people dropped what they were doing and monitors turned off. Everyone was talking and trying to make sense of the situations. All the while Jeremy walked back to the detention center and Jeffrey and Josh slid into the shadows of the room that was going in to a new state of a chaos as people ran around trying to figure out what was going on. Finally someone took charge. The man guarding the vault to the main computer room was on the podium at the front of the room.
“It seems that there may be a spy in out mists. All personnel are to report to the hall next door for inspection and possible interrogation. Everyone filed out of the room which was now pitch black, with the exception of the red light above. Not a single person noticed the two people and an Absol crawl out of the shadows towards the vault. Jeffrey opened the door to the main computer room and got in. Josh followed. There was a central seat surrounded by equipment. Jeffrey smiled like it was Christmas in July. He got into the seat, cracked his knuckles and got to work while Josh watched. First Jeffrey brought up some information regarding the location of the Pokeballs. He printed off a map and the location of the Pokeballs and gave it to Josh. Josh then snuck out of the computer room and headed towards to storage room with the Pokeballs. Jeffrey was again typing in information and putting in codes.
“Security here sure does suck” he said to his Absol who was sitting next to him. “Hmm” he added “What do we have here?” Jeffrey brought up cameras showing views of different rooms. He saw Josh was in position at the storage room, and that Jeremy, Daniel and the others were waiting. Jeffrey also found several flash drives on the consol. He took five of them and inserted them into different USB ports. Then he initiated a file dump into the flash drives and began downloading gigabyte after gigabyte of information. Jeffrey was still smiling. The best part of his plan had yet to come. Downloading the information was just a bonus.

He pulled up the power grid for the base and began to shut it down. He kept the back up generators on for the intercom. He watched the timer click down.

All power in the base went out. With the exception of back-up red lights throughout the base all power was out, including the jail cell doors in the detention block.
Jeffrey got on the intercom, knowing that his plan was now in motion.
“This is an emergency announcement! The power for the entire base and several back-up generators is out! As of such the base is initiating a base wide bored lockdown! I repeat the base is initiating a BORED LOCKOWN!”

To Be Continued…..
