So, they just added 50 new levels and we have a Cresselia escalation.
I just completed Level 150 of that on my 3DS, but am on 115 on mobile (everything costs more!)

Discuss!

I figure I'll hold on to my Skill Swap to use on Entei when the Mega Steelix competition comes. I'm assuming I'll need it for that, but I'm going to wait, just to be sure. There are other things I'd rather use it on.

I used my ss on Entei. I stoppped the Cressy EB at 121, since I am way far behind on the main stages and the expert levels.

I had a data issue a while back and lost all my 3DS game data. So, basically I have been playing catch up.

For the Mega Steelix comp- I have a score run w/o item use of 202??, so, been trying different teams here and there to see what is working best for my 'mon's.

I am only on the Deoxys main stage just today. And I am stuck trying to S-Rank enough mon's to unlock Yvetal.

I do have around 100 max lvl 'mons though............

I pretty much save all of my consumables. I'm waiting for mega Pidgeot to drop but Cresselia was fun to get. I got it the first time around but collecting items is always good.

I am currently trying to grind coins for Mega Rayquazza. But my coins are going to go towards the Garchomp challenge that ends tomorrow night.

If anyone needs suggestions on stages they are having trouble with, ask away! I can advise on some teams or say what I did to beat a stage. I am only up to main stage 300 at the moment, and I have only up to Braxian on expert. (data loss really cut me down in progress on the game)

I gave up on Zygarde 50% escalation at level 276.
It got exponentially harder at that point.
Now we have another escalation, back to back!
I needed a breather after Zygarde!

I stopped the Zygard EB early as well, other game priorities took precedence.
For the Diance EB- I am currently using MegaMawile, Jirachi, Klinklang, and Dialga. I already have Diance and the stone, I could really use the Candies to boost MegaRayquazza since I just cleared main stage 300. MegaRayquazza is beast!

I will probably stop the Diance EB after there are no more chances to get candies- (haven't looked at the prizing list), I do not want to spend to much resources on the EB.

I was able to mange a score of 70295 on the Garchomp Challenge, since I already had the stone it was good to get a candy and a RML.

Next week though, the MCHarX comp is going to be good, since I missed the last time it was around so it will be nice to have that stone.

I'm using M Steelix for the escalation, along with other Pokemon that I haven't maxed out yet, at least for the early levels. Once the levels start getting harder I'll have to see what I'll need to use.
My Dialga is maxed, so I'm leaving him off for now. Steelix Mega is taking care of the blocks once I evolve him.
I only caught Jirachi recently, so he definitely needs leveling up, and the Mega Boost + is well worth using.

I will more then likely switch over to Mega Steelix as well when the disruptions get to much and Dialga will only be used for power. Taking out Blocks reduces Mega Steelix's damage output, so if Dialga activates less damage from Mega Steelix. For now, Mega Mawile works great combo'd with Dialga in the meantime.
Really wishing Mega Beedrill was availible and we knew what it's effect was...............

Who's ready for the Mega Charizard X competition this week starting tonight after the update?

What will be your team?

They're saying to bring Xerneus. Is there a Xerneus disruption added?
If so, then I'd probably go with a M Ray and Fairy team. Xerneus, Diancie, and Togekiss for it's Pixie Power.

I'm still finishing up the Diancie escalation. I'm going to to 200 and stopping there. Not worth the amount of work for the prizes given for levels 250 and 300. Grinding Meowth now so I can do a full item run for 200.
Then on to leveling up Togekiss is bit more. It's only level 6 right now.

Xerny is a spawn disruption. The DD will cover you up to half-way through the moves, then when Xerny spawns then you can get bonus combos. The combo's must be 3 or 4 (still in the determination process) in order to get more Xerny to spawn.

I will be using MQuazza, IceKream, Diance, and Xerny for my finale item run. In the process of using itemless runs in order to get a full clarification on how this competition flows based on the disruptions and what will trigger more Xerny spawns. I have had Xery spawn 3 times between moves, and I didn't pay attention to how many combos it was I was seeing how many Xerny spawn.

Itemless runs are great to get a feel of the stage. Plus seeing how many disruptions and the what not will happen as the moves count down.

I suggest not going for Pixy POwer, only because so far in another group I am in with some of the top players are having a hard time getting Pixy POwer to triger and it is useless when Xerny spawns kick in.

I am using for practice and investigation: MLatios, Xerny, IceKream and Zygard/Wkream (all max - no sb or candies on the mega) to just test with.

I'm considering waiting for the Skill Booster Eevee and using that skill booster on Pixie Power.
Just going from Skill Level 1 to 2 adds 25% to the activation rate!
That takes a 3 match from 15% to 40% and a 4 match from 40% to 65%, a huge increase for a small investment.

I got a score of 75,000 on my 3DS using a Level 5 un-boosted Pixie team, and not everything else was maxed, so I have a lot of upside if I need it.

Haven't run the contest on my Mobile yet. I have max everything except Togekiss. I think I'll hold off until I level that up some and get the Skill Boost. Mobile is more competitive than 3DS, and also doesn't have Mega Start.
In fact, I might test Gengar vs Ray since I don't have a fully candied Ray.

Having a full candied Ray is a must for normal stuff, but when you have access to Mega Start- it's all good.
I have like 20 small skill boost and 6 medium skill boosts- might just skip the Xer boost cuz the drop rate is such an iffy chance-
I do not have mobile, so I do not know the exact differences between the two.
MGengar is good, so if you choose it over Ray and have boosted Xern- you'll hit just as hard as if you did use Gengar vs Ray.

Decided to run Zygarde 10% on my mobile to get M Ray running asap. Scored almost as high - 73,553.
I'm actually in better shape on Mobile than I am on 3DS since the scoring there is a bit lower due to not having Mega Start on this competition.

I boosted my 3DS Togekiss to Skill Level 3 and it is triggering very easily now. Instead of triggering 15%, 40%, 80%, it is now 40%, 65%, and 100%. Much better!

I am grinding Xerneus at least up to Level 3. I'm hoping to get a Raise Max Level out of it. We'll see. I'm pretty depleted of RMLs on Mobile right now. At least I'll get a Skill Lv 3 Xerneus out of it.

@'Pop: So, you are doing itemless runs right now to get that score on your mobile?
I used only a MS on my MRay team, it got me 70-something. When I go full item run, I'm hoping to break 100000 score.
Thinking I will go ahead and boost both Xern and Togakiss to at least skill 3- and go from there.............
Good score btw!

No, that was a run with items.
I do an early run but keep strengthening the team in case I need to improve my position at the end of the event.
As long as I wind up in the top tier I don't worry about how high I rank. Just want to be good enough to get the max rewards.
I'm not good enough yet to worry about getting the really high scores.

By the way, I got a RML for mobile but hit skill level 3 on 3DS without getting a RML there, so I'll stop grinding Xerneus. I have enough RML on 3DS
Think I'll work on getting Mamoswine from the Expert stages now.

When you spent a lot of coins and have a Super Catch Rate of 97% and using a Great Ball.... and Hitmonchan escapes.

@Pokepop: Been there, dislike that! Ugh, lol- sometimes after grinding coins then that: (throws 3DS) (Not really, the feels are there :p)
